After Sony's official confirmation, in addition to Spider-Man from many different universes, there are actually multiple variants of Gwen in "Spider-Man: Across the Universe".
According to the film's character designer Chris Anka, Gayatri, the Indian Spider-Man's lover in the Indian Universe (50101), is actually a variant of Gwen Stacy.
Because of the difference between the character's appearance and name and Gwen's, it is difficult for the audience to immediately connect the two, but according to the designer, in the early days of character production, Geatelli's design direction was to "move closer to Gwen's style".
The designers said that initially they directly applied Gwen's dressing style and color scheme. Then I changed the shape of the skirt to make the overall look more beautiful and casual, and paired it with a fashionable hat. However, due to the character's skin color, hairstyle and dress, Gwen is too different. The result is that the whole character looks more like an original character.
But that's just the beginning, and according to the producers of "Across the Universe," they plan to add more Gwen variants to the next film.
Personally, I guess this should be to explore Miles and Gwen's relationship in depth, because the two have said on the roof that Gwen and Spider-Man's relationship will not end well, and perhaps more Gwen variants are to verify this.
