On June 29, Princess Anne, daughter of Elizabeth II, attended the 2023 CHIO Aachen Equestrian World Festival

The festival was grandly opened at the Sols Sports Park in Aachen, which was founded in 1927 and this year's theme country year is the United Kingdom.

The Aachen World Equestrian Festival has nearly 100 years of deep accumulation and enjoys the reputation of "Wimbledon" in the equestrian world. Originating at the end of the 19th century, the event has undergone modern innovations to become a world-renowned equestrian event. The competition lasted 10 days and covered five international equestrian events.

Princess Anne inaugurated the festival and was followed by a nearly 2-hour opening ceremony showcasing traditional British carriages, costumes, royal knights, and pony rides, as well as Harry Potter, Beatles music and dance in the rain.

The performance model borrowed from the opening ceremony performance of the London Olympics, and incorporated a lot of equestrian elements, and finally the audience sang the famous Beatles song "All You Need Is Love" in unison, which ended in joy.
