What occupations pay more?
The so-called wage price refers to the salary level of the employees of the enterprise during the reporting period, including basic salary, bonuses, allowances and subsidies, overtime wages and wages paid under special circumstances. It reflects to some extent the price level in the labor market.
Quantile values are data that is sorted from lowest to highest and is in the appropriate percentage position in the series. It indicates that there is a corresponding proportion of data that is below or equal to that number. It is generally divided into low (10th percentile), lower quartile (25th percentile), median (50th percentile), upper quartile (75th percentile), and high (90th percentile).
What profession pays more? According to the salary price of employees of medium-sized enterprises by occupation, from the perspective of high digits, the top three are the heads of enterprises and institutions, 312,000 yuan per year; financial service personnel, 257,500 yuan per year; and information transmission, software and information technology service personnel, 216,400 yuan per year.
From the median, the top three occupations are financial service personnel, 118,800 yuan per year; heads of enterprises and institutions, 99,000 yuan per year; and information transmission, software and information technology service personnel, 87,200 yuan per year.

What positions pay more?
The salary price of employees in enterprises by job level is displayed, including three categories: management post level, technical post level, and skill post level.
The management post level refers to the hierarchical position of personnel working in management positions in the job sequence of the enterprise, including senior management posts, middle management posts, grassroots management posts and management employee posts. From the median, the senior management post is 115,000 yuan / year, the middle management post is 94,600 yuan / year, the grassroots management post is 78,000 yuan / year, and the management employee post is 61,800 yuan / year.
Technical post grades refer to professional and technical titles recognized by the state or professional evaluation institutions, including senior professional titles, intermediate professional titles, and junior professional titles. From the median, the senior job title is 114,800 yuan/year, the intermediate job title is 83,200 yuan/year, and the junior job title is 65,800 yuan/year.
Skill post levels refer to occupational skill levels set in accordance with national occupational skill standards or industry enterprise evaluation specifications, including advanced skills and above, intermediate skills, and primary skills. From the median, advanced skills and above 80,400 yuan/year, intermediate skills 68,000 yuan/year, and primary skills 54,900 yuan/year.
It can be seen that the higher the position, title and skill, the higher the salary price. Wage data published from some localities also confirm this trend.

According to data recently released by the Shanghai Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, in 2022, the average annual salary of skilled talents in enterprises in the city will be 162,200 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.4%. Among them, the average annual salary of senior technicians was 238,400 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.8%, the highest increase in the past five years.
In terms of median salary, the salary of a chief technician is three times higher than that of a junior worker. The chief technician, special technician, senior technician, technician, senior engineer, intermediate worker and junior worker were 303,300 yuan, 279,100 yuan, 208,700 yuan, 194,300 yuan, 173,700 yuan, 155,800 yuan and 99,500 yuan respectively.
