Square Enix recently released new information on Final Fantasy VII Remake Interlude, introducing voice actor profiles for Yophie and Sognon and new ways of fighting.
Yufi (CV: Yumi Kasu), a member of the godai special skills group Ninja, calls herself a beautiful ninja with a quick hand and manipulates a huge shuriken to toy with enemies between her legs. Her organization failed in the battle against Shinra, and in order to save her hometown, she accepted the mission of Godai and secretly infiltrated Midgar.
Sognon (CV: Hosoya Yoshimasa), a warrior from Godai, recognizes Yuffie's father as his teacher, excels in boxing and sticks, and has been full of hatred for Shinra since childhood. Now team up with the young senior Yuffie and travel to Midgar on a mission. Because of his serious and careful personality, he often discourages the "Yuffie Seniors" who are prone to rampage.
According to the official introduction, the new chapter of Final Fantasy VII Remake Interlude, "Yuffie Chapter", will contain two new chapters that tell the story of the adventures of Yuffy and Sonnon.
Not only is Yuffie very good at close combat, but also very good at ranged combat. She is able to use ninjutsu and shuriken to inflict heavy damage on distant enemies.
In addition, Yuffie can open the treasure chest in the distance with a shuriken, and it is common to activate the mechanism. She can also walk like a ninja on a barbed wire cornice.
