U.S. and European officials will not allow the military takeover, and Blinken has threatened to continue to do what China does not like

author:Very reviewed

Recently, US and European officials have hyped up the Taiwan issue and once again threatened not to accept Taiwan by force. As soon as the words fell, Blinken, who had just finished his visit to China not long ago, also exposed his true face and threatened to continue to do things that China did not like. From this point of view, we still cannot be too optimistic about Sino-US relations.

According to media reports, U.S. and European officials recently held a dialogue on China. On the Taiwan issue, the representatives of the United States and Europe agreed that for the United States and the European Union and even other countries in the world, maintaining peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait is the top priority.

To this end, US and European officials have hyped up the PLA's operations in the Taiwan Strait and reiterated that it is not allowed to take Taiwan by force.

U.S. and European officials will not allow the military takeover, and Blinken has threatened to continue to do what China does not like

The reason they gave was that the Taiwan issue was a matter of regional and global security and prosperity. Any attempt to use force to undermine the status quo will threaten the interests of the United States, Europe and even the rest of the world.

It is not difficult to see that most of the signals that US and European officials want to release in this dialogue are still threatening Chinese mainland not to accept Taiwan.

However, it must be pointed out that the Taiwan issue is purely China's internal affair, and these expositions by US and European officials are completely grossly interfering in China's internal affairs.

As early as when Blinken visited China before, China made clear its solemn position on the Taiwan issue in person, that is, the United States must oppose "Taiwan independence" and China will not compromise or make concessions. Obviously, Blinken's promise to stay in China on behalf of the United States was forgotten after returning home.

After all, it is not so much that the United States and Europe have unanimously pointed the finger at China at this time, but that Europe has been dragged by the United States and has to attack China. We can analyze this from two aspects.

On the one hand, Chinese representatives recently attended the China-EU Dialogue and the new Global Financing Compact Summit led by France, both of which have a positive effect on the development of China-EU relations. Against this background, there is no reason for the EU to spoil the atmosphere.

On the other hand, Blinken changed his tune when he returned from his visit to China, and he recently said in his evaluation of his visit that although his visit has positive significance for Sino-US relations, the United States will still not compromise or make concessions on areas where China and the United States have differences. Therefore, the United States will continue to do things that China does not like.

It is true that Blinken argues that there have been long-standing differences between China and the United States on issues such as democracy and human rights, so the same will happen to China. In other words, the US move is more like responding to China doing things that the United States does not like, and saying things that the United States does not like to hear.

But what is obvious is that China has been reiterating that we are willing to handle relations with the United States based on the principle of mutual respect. In other words, Blinken is stealing concepts and distorting some of the facts presented by China into infringing on US interests. In the final analysis, the United States believes that China and the United States should avoid misunderstanding and miscalculation, and to put it bluntly, we still hope that we will not fight back.

For example, China's demand that the United States stop interfering in China's internal affairs and that the United States stop suppressing Chinese companies are indeed things that the United States does not like. But the question is, is China wrong? The United States can target China in all kinds of ways under the banner of so-called "national security", and we have taken measures to defend our legitimate interests without any problems.

Before Blinken's visit to China, the US aircraft carrier "Reagan" trespassed into the South China Sea to demonstrate. After his visit to China, the United States extended its black hand to Chinese enterprises and unjustifiably arrested two Chinese citizens.

It can be said that the United States has been doing things that China does not like, which has nothing to do with Blinken's claim that there are differences between China and the United States. All this the United States has done is simply to contain and suppress China in order to maintain its own hegemony.

Of course, from another perspective, the 2024 presidential election in the United States is approaching, and Blinken's harsh words about China at this time may also be to curry favor with domestic anti-China forces. After all, if Blinken "submits soft" to China after his visit to China, it is estimated that even the entire Democratic Party will be labeled as "soft on China".

In addition, the United States also hopes to appease the Taiwan authorities through such voices. Blinken's opposition to "Taiwan independence" expressed in Beijing is obviously a stopgap measure.

As for why the United States wants to pull up the EU, one is that it can undermine China-EU relations. Not long ago, China's high-level visits to France and Germany successively received positive responses from the two EU "leader" countries, while the United States obviously does not want to see China and Europe approach. Second, the United States also hopes to send more officials to visit China, so on some China-related issues, the United States can only encourage its allies to do so.

However, it is one thing for us to be open to dialogue between China and the United States, and another thing whether we believe in the commitment of the United States. With the current political mutual trust between China and the United States, the US sidestepping will definitely not affect China's strategic determination.

To sum up, China will and must be reunified, and we sincerely advise the US side to stop provoking China and do less harm to others and to itself.
