Quan Hongchan and Chen Yuxi, the "two little ones" who represented the Chinese team in the women's double 10-meter platform event, showed good competitive condition, and the on-site referee repeatedly raised the scoreboard of 9.5 and 10 points, Chen Yuxi said that the two of them are mainly compared with themselves, and the same is true at the World Championships, the main goal is to pursue perfection. Quan Hongchan's sentence "nothing added" after the teammate was interviewed also attracted laughter from the reporters on the scene.
The 2023 FINA World Swimming Championships will be held in Fukuoka on July 14, first diving and then swimming, which means that the Chinese diving team members have only three weeks to go to the field. In order to check the training and preparation of the participants, the Chinese team will first test the two-person event on June 24, and another test in the single-person event the next week.
The two-man event in the diving competition of the World Championships includes four Olympic events and mixed 3-meter springboard, mixed 10-meter platform, mixed team, etc., among which the most concerned by sports fans is the women's double 10-meter platform event, because in this event for the Chinese team are two "popular kings" little girls Quan Hongchan and Chen Qianxi, both of whom have Olympic champions and world championship titles, and last year at the World Championships in Budapest, the two little girls were the gold medalists of this event. And it is also precipitously ahead of athletes from other countries and regions, which can be said to be a superb ride.
In the team test on the afternoon of the 24th, because it was only a training test for the participants in the two-person event of the World Championships, only Quan Hongchan and Chen Yuxi participated in the women's platform event. It can be seen from the test that the two little girls are not going through the motions, but every jump is very serious, like real combat. From the prescribed movements to the optional movements, both of them meticulously went all out, and the 407C (inward tumbling for three and a half weeks of knee holding) and 301B (reflexive tumbling half a week of flexion) were well done. You must know that the referees in the Chinese team score more harshly than the referees of the World Series, and even so, they are 9.5 points and 10 points frequently. Zhou Jihong, the leader who watched the game, called the women's springboard partners Chen Yiwen and Chang Yani who performed ups and downs to guide them after the game, but did not say anything about the performance of Quan Hongchan and Chen Qianxi, which should be more satisfactory.
After the test, in an interview with reporters, Chen Qianxi, who was mainly an elder, said that Quan Hongchan only said that she was relatively satisfied with her performance and was not particularly good at expression.
