After joining the fire brigade, Wang Shoucai quickly became the backbone of fire fighting and rescue, not afraid of danger, decisive and courageous, but he did not stop there. During the training, Wang Shoucai learned the principle of use and maintenance of various types of fire fighting equipment, and he seemed to have stepped into a treasure house with a strong interest in machinery since he was a child. In the rescue of the landslide collapse accident in Linfen Township in March 2019, the fire commanders and fighters raced against the god of death, but in the emergency moment, the broken pickaxe "went on strike". At that time, the operator thought that the spark plug was flooded, so he removed and replaced it with another spark plug, but it still could not be activated.
Knowing this news, Wang Shoucai immediately came from another rescue point, after a few minutes of inspection, he believed that the reason was that the damper could not be closed normally due to long-term operation, and immediately installed the original spark plug, adjusted the damper, and used the tool for maintenance, and the broken pickaxe was successfully started!
In the fire fighting and rescue is often used to use the mobile pump, Wang Shoucai assiduously studied the maintenance technology of the mobile pump, and became an "expert" in the maintenance of the mobile pump. Over the past few years, he has accumulated a wealth of experience in equipment maintenance, and the vehicle equipment he can repair will never go to the repair shop. Since 2019 alone, it has eliminated the fault of vehicle equipment more than 50 times, which not only improves the utilization rate of equipment, but also saves a lot of money for the station.
While his own repair technology was excellent, Wang Shoucai also actively did a good job of passing, helping, and leading, imparting the maintenance technology he had mastered to the new comrades without reservation, often giving lectures to the commanders and fighters of the squadron to explain the knowledge of equipment, and always solving the problems encountered in the use of equipment for them at all times.
No matter how much praise he received, Wang Shoucai only smiled slightly and said shyly: "I am a firefighter, I just did what I can do." ”
