The Turkish Premier League has made an official offer to AC Milan for Croatian strikers.
As they have not been playing well this past season, AC Milan's two players in attack, Rebic and Origi, have both been pushed into the transfer market by the club to hear the right offer. Coach Pioli believes they have not been able to help the team enough and has put him on the team's purge list, hoping to earn close to 10 million euros.
According to reports from a number of media outlets in Italy and Turkey, Turkish Premier League powerhouse Besiktas has made an official offer to AC Milan for Croatian Rebić, hoping to recruit the attacker. He just finished the season with just 31 games for Pioli's side in all competitions, starting 12 of them, scoring just three goals and two assists. The 29-year-old has seen a serious decline in both game form and athletic prowess.
In the final rounds of Serie A of the season, Rebic was also directly excluded from the squad by the coaching staff due to serious problems with the players' attitude to training. This also heralded the end of his career at the San Siro Stadium, and there are currently some teams in the Bundesliga who have a strong interest in it, and the player's own choice is unknown for the time being.
In addition to Rebić, the 28-year-old Belgian Origi is also Besiktas' main signings up front. If the conditions are right, they will even consider bringing in these two players at the same time. Origi, who earned €4 million a year after tax at AC Milan, has become one of Serie A's most unsuccessful signings this season, starting 10 of 36 appearances and contributing only two goals and one assist.
