It turned out that because there were too many people who came to see the dragon boat race, a little girl was squeezed into the water, and the little girl was too young to swim at all.

At this time, although Lin Xiangqian was only 12 years old, he saw that the little girl's situation was in crisis, so he did not hesitate to jump into the water to save people.

When Lin Xiangqian rescued the little girl to the shore, everyone praised him as a brave little hero.

In 1906, Lin Xiangqian entered the Mawei Shipyard and became an apprentice.

Lin Xiangqian is from a poor background, he knows that the life of workers is not easy, he saw the workers ruthlessly exploited, deeply sad, he decided to improve the working conditions for the workers, as well as increase the income of workers. So after that, there was a small strike with the workers.

When the Communist Party of China was founded, the workers' movement at that time was also attached great importance to by the Communist Party of China, so it sent Chen Tanqiu and others to go deep among the railway workers on the banks of the Hankou River.

In the subsequent exchanges, Lin Xiangqian did not disappoint Chen Tanqiu, his ideological consciousness and class consciousness progressed rapidly, and with the help and influence of Chen Tanqiu and others, he finally embarked on the revolutionary road. In 1922, he joined the Communist Party of China.

Soon, Lin Xiangqian was elected as the chairman of the Beijing-Hankou Railway Jiang'an Branch Trade Union.

On February 1, 1923, the inaugural meeting of the Beijing-Hankou Railway Federation of Trade Unions was held in Zhengzhou.

On the morning of February 4, Lin Xiangqian received an order from the Federation of Trade Unions to start a strike, so he immediately issued a strike order for the Beijing-Hankou railway workers.

After that, under the leadership of Lin Xiangqian, the workers' doors went on strike one after another, which was unstoppable, and in just three hours, on the Beijing-Hankou railway of more than 2400 miles, a general strike was realized.

Lin Xiangqian and the workers angered the Beiyang warlords, because the Beijing-Hankou Railway was one of the important sources of economic income for the Beiyang warlords, and the workers went on strike, cutting off the warlords' "financial road".

Later, the warlords brutally suppressed the workers without being able to negotiate to force the workers to return to work.

On February 7, the warlord ordered his troops to shoot workers in a frenzied manner, creating the "27 Massacre" that shocked the whole country. Not only did it cause many casualties, but even Lin Xiangqian was unfortunately arrested.

After Lin Xiangqian was arrested, the enemy asked him to issue an order to resume work, he directly refused, and the angry enemy slashed him in the shoulder and said, "Can't you resume work?" ”

Lin Xiangqian suppressed the severe pain and calmly said, "No more." ”

After hearing this, the enemy slashed Lin Xiangqian in the shoulder, and then said, "Do you really want to issue an order to resume work?" ”
