In the Jianghua No. 2 Middle School examination center, food inspectors randomly sampled vegetables and meat purchased in the morning in the canteen, sent to the food safety rapid inspection vehicle, professional inspectors will be the food sampling, soaking, reagent reaction, the use of rapid inspection equipment, respectively the ingredients of the veterinary drug residues, pesticide residues and other items to detect, rapid inspection technology has the characteristics of fast detection speed, short time, high efficiency, a batch of samples usually 10 minutes to 30 minutes can get results.
"We test for organophosphorus and carbamate pesticide residues, and we can basically do the test within two hours." Zhang Yan, a food safety inspector, said.
The market supervision department also arranged two people to squat at the test center to supervise the procurement, processing and production process of the school throughout the process to prevent cross-contamination of food processing and production, and minimize potential food safety risks.
"During the college entrance examination, we sent staff to follow the whole process, stationed in the canteen, and went all out to do a good job in food safety and security during the college entrance examination."
