The local Chinese in Papua New Guinea, many large enterprises or large companies, basically rely on family cooperation to set up. Each member of the family has shares, which means that although there are high and low positions, no one is convinced of the other.

I knew some Chinese shareholders of large PNG companies before, and many of them would rather sell their shares at a discount than go out and open their own business. Like I knew a friend surnamed Chen before, he was the general manager of a large local shopping mall in Papua New Guinea. The entire company is composed of relatives of his family, and his cousins hold shares.

He once told me: He is a very useless general manager, because no one in the company listens to you. Like several of his relatives working in the warehouse, he sometimes used to arrange work, but the relatives did not listen to him at all.
