
"My Father and Me" is a drama film co-directed by Wu Jing, Zhang Ziyi, Xu Zheng and Shen Teng, which is the third work of the "National Day Trilogy" after "My Motherland and Me" in 2019 and "My Hometown and Me" in 2020, which was released in Chinese mainland on September 30, 2021.
The film is composed of four units: "Riding the Wind", "Poetry", "Duck Prophet" and "Young Journey", taking revolution, construction, reform and opening up and the new era as the historical coordinates, describing the struggle experiences of several generations of fathers through the perspective of "home and country", telling the blood connection and spiritual inheritance of Chinese, and reproducing the memory of the times when Chinese worked hard.
