Haval Thunder Dragon, Wei Brand Blue Mountain, marketing is very hot, how is the real sales?

Great Wall sold more than 100,000 units in May, up 26% y/y.

This is the first time that Great Wall's monthly sales have exceeded 100,000 this year. And year-on-year and month-on-month are growing, new energy sales and exports have also increased a lot, which is positive news for the Great Wall on the cusp.

However, extending the timeline, Great Wall only completed 410,000 vehicles in the first five months, only a quarter of the year from its goal of 1.6 million vehicles. Last year's (417,300 units) was down 0.78% y/y.

The situation before the Great Wall is still grim. Next, if the sales do not come up, the end of the year will fail again.

Let's start with the Haval brand, which sold a total of 56,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 33.18%. The Haval Thunder MAX and the Haval Thunder Dragon, which have just been on the market for half a month, sold 3,088 vehicles and started well.

In fact, in addition to the controversial appearance, the overall price and configuration of the Thunder Dragon series are competitive. Especially Hi4 technology, as a new energy counter-offensive weapon taken out by the Great Wall, sales in the next few months are particularly critical.

Weipai sold 5,770 units in May, a year-on-year increase of 128.97%. The previous coffee series has basically gone to zero, because the Blue Mountain DHT-PHEV sold 5136 units.

Considering that the price of Blue Mountain is nearly 300,000 yuan, and it is the first delivery month, this data is available, which also shows that Blue Mountain has cut a part of the market demand.

Whether Blue Mountain can grow steadily, as well as the performance of the new Mocha DHT-PHEV, deserves further attention.

Other brands, Great Wall pickup trucks still have appeal in the market segment. With sales of 18,600 units in May, Great Wall Cannon won the sales champion of pickup trucks for consecutive years, with a terminal market share of more than 50%.

Both Euler and tanks exceeded 10,000 units, which was relatively stable.

Judging from the sales volume in May, Great Wall has seen new sales growth points such as Blue Mountain and Thunder Dragon, and sales have exceeded 100,000.

160,000 electric four-wheel drive Thunder Dragon MAX, 230,000 Mocha, 270,000-300,000 Blue Mountain, the overall price is also rising.

But as mentioned earlier, nearly half a year, Great Wall's sales have not yet returned to positive year-on-year.

Wei Jianjun said that last year was a squat, in order to build up for this year. At least for now, the jump isn't high enough.
