In Showdown of Generals, every round of placement counts. Players need to grasp their position and that of their enemies, determine the distance of their attacks, move at the right time, or choose cards to attack. When players are familiar with the gameplay, they can also use their imagination to actively control the enemy's position, playing the general and his men in the exquisite pixel and wind stage, and playing them to applause.
In between battles, players are also free to give special upgrades to all the cards in their hands to create their own exclusive cards. As the game continues, players will unlock new characters, attacks, skills, and more, making every challenge a novel combat experience.
The game's free-to-play demo of General Showdown: Prologue has been critically acclaimed since its launch on Steam in April, with a 97% positive rating. The Early Access Edition adds two new fun playable characters, six challenging island levels and over 20 different cards, and will continue to enrich the experience with continuous updates.
