Drive all the way from Mabian Yi Autonomous County along the S103 provincial highway, and marvel at the high-quality natural and cultural scenery of Daliangshan along the way, but the road conditions are not ordinarily bad. It takes less than 5 hours to reach Meigu County from the junction of Mabian and Meigu to the county seat of Meigu, and in addition to road construction, road disconnection and serious damage to the road surface caused by landslides are the most critical factors.

"The mountain is high and man-made", and the beautiful scenery is always inaccessible. Before coming to Daliangshan, some media gave some unrealistic propaganda and reports to the Yi people in Daliangshan, believing that Meigu, Bhutto, and Zhaojue were the poorest places for the Yi people in the Daliangshan area, with dilapidated houses, people's lives "miserable and miserable", and children's clothes "shabby and dirty", but this was not the case.
