That being the case, the best outcome of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict is to return to the state before the war began on February 24 last year. The army withdrew to the Line of Actual Control at that time to achieve a ceasefire, negotiated with political and military power, and the two sides bargained.
For example, the two self-proclaimed independent republics of Wudong will return to Ukraine on the basis of limited autonomy after a five-year transition period, while negotiations on issues such as Crimea can also begin after five years, and the previous five years are still controlled by Russia.
