Strong and involved in research

Before joining the Manhattan Project, he received a master's degree in physics from Yenching University, and in three years in the United States, he earned a doctorate in physics from the University of California, Berkeley, at the age of 30.

But at that time, the United States was very interested in talents, Ge Tingxiao was a talent among talents, the United States was unwilling to easily let Ge Tingxiao go, after many hardships, Ge Tingxiao finally returned to his dream motherland, the moment he stepped on the motherland, Ge Tingxiao seemed to return to his childhood, when he was also a troublemaker in the eyes of his family, so how did the original troublemaker grow to this point?
Caring for the motherland
In 1913, Ge Tingxiao fell to the ground in Dagejia Village, Penglai, Shandong, his birth made the whole family happy, the whole family gave him high expectations, for this his family sent the 6-year-old Ge Tingxiao to the school, Ge Tingxiao also lived up to the expectations of his family, he was not only smart and willing to learn, but also often helped his family to work in the fields.
Whenever he was free, Ge Tingxiao liked to sit in a quiet place and read the stories of Yue Fei and Wen Tianxiang, which planted loyalty and righteousness in Ge Tingxiao's heart.
Out of curiosity about everything, Ge Tingxiao always does something that is a little naughty in the eyes of adults, so someone named Ge Tingxiao the title of "trick-or-treater".
But the "little troublemaker" also has his own thoughts, and in the process of growing up, he saw that our nation has always been under the oppression of the great powers, and while he is deeply saddened, he also hopes that he can do something for the motherland.
In 1927, 17-year-old Ge Tingxiao decided to go to Beiping to study, and in the preparatory department of science of Beijing Normal University and the preparatory department of Beijing Normal University, Ge Tingxiao studied hard day and night, and finally in 1930, Ge Tingxiao was successfully admitted to the physics department of Tsinghua University.
In the following three years, while consolidating his abilities at Tsinghua University, Ge Tingxiao always paid attention to the country's movements, and he always took the lead in the school and joined the student movement.
In 1933, Ge Tingxiao suffered from lung disease and applied to the school to return home to recuperate, and the school approved, and when he returned to the place where he grew up again, he felt not cordial but feudal, the temples in the village were clean, the clay statues of gods were receiving pious attention, and the outside was muddy.
Watching the villagers in front of the statue of the god telling about the hope for the stability of the nation, Ge Tingxiao only felt that it should not be like this! So Ge Tingxiao called his friends and threw all the gods and statues into the river, and then he posted "Down with feudal superstition" around the village.
Seeing such a Ge Tingxiao, the people in the village only felt madness, and they were afraid that the gods would sin down, so they prayed to the gods with great fanfare not to offend them.
Looking at such a situation, Ge Tingxiao was a little helpless, he knew that this could not be changed overnight, he picked up the pen and wrote an article with great enthusiasm: "Talk about whether there are ghosts in the world".
Ge Tingxiao's practice was not without effect, and some young people who were willing to accept it were encouraged to follow suit, and many clay sculptures of bodhisattvas were toppled.
Not only that, Ge Tingxiao also mobilized many students, saying that he would resist Japan and save the nation from danger.
Where does this put their face? So Ge Tingxiao's name was on the blacklist of Kuomintang military, police and secret service arrests.
Therefore, Ge Tingxiao was also in danger at all times, and one night, the Kuomintang broke into Tsinghuayuan to arrest the blacklisted students, and Ge Tingxiao was almost arrested, and it was because he hid in Ye Qisun's house that he was able to escape.
In 1937, Ge Tingxiao graduated from university, he chose to go to Yanjing for graduate school, after a year of study, Ge Tingxiao was successfully admitted to the physics department of Yenching University graduate school, also in the fall of this year, the physics department instrument and equipment administrator Yan Yuchang joined the anti-Japanese guerrilla group, he found Ge Tingxiao, hoping that he could use the school as a cover to contribute to the anti-Japanese resistance.
Without asking about any tasks, Ge Tingxiao agreed, and the organization gave Ge Tingxiao three tasks: first, to collect some materials related to the production of radio stations and mine warfare, secondly, to provide some information for the organization to consult, and finally, the anti-Japanese guerrilla zone needs some high-tech talents.
At that time, Ye Qisun built a batch of radio transmitters that needed to be transported to the front line, the most dangerous of which was to pass through the Japanese blockade, and after disguise, Ge Tingxiao became a missionary named "He Pu", and finally he successfully went to the anti-Japanese guerrilla zone.
Not only that, Ge Tingxiao also helped to participate in the manufacture of mines in the guerrilla zone, and many of his classmates were also involved, and under the development of these talents, lethal weapons were quickly developed, which made the Japanese side feel unbelievable, how did the eight-way weapon suddenly become so powerful?
Ge Tingxiao, who returned to school, took out all the money he usually saved to buy the items needed for the Anti-Japanese War and sent them to the front line, during which he saw countless patriotic young people throwing their heads and spilling their blood for the motherland.
Ge Tingxiao decided to go abroad for further study, and then use science and technology to save his motherland, so Ge Tingxiao went to the United States to study, relying on his own strength, Ge Tingxiao made his own reputation in the world.
He was still brilliant in his old age
Ge Tingxiao, who returned to his homeland and became a physics professor at Tsinghua University, was only 37 years old at the time, and he knew that his country needed talent, so he wrote letters to students who were far away.
Ge Tingxiao once said:
Science knows no borders, scientists have a homeland.
In the years since returning to China, Ge Tingxiao has not stopped for a moment, and in his later years, he was questioned by the Japanese scientific research community, is Ge Tingxiao, who is nearly 70 years old, already exhausted?
Ge Tingxiao told them with facts that he still shined like a pearl, and since then he has completed the combination of crystal internal consumption research and grain boundary atomic research, and his research laboratory has become "the cradle of the world's internal consumption cause".
Ge Tingxiao developed instruments that are used in several important fields in the mainland, and at the age of 80, he won the highest award for internal friction and ultrasonic attenuation: the Zhenner Award.
At the age of 86, the Robert Franklin Mayer Award was won by Ge Tingxiao, and he was the first Chinese to win the award.
On April 29, 2000, Mr. Ge Tingxiao passed away, and he truly did what anyone deserved in his life!
He also did what he did in his heart, and although he died nine times, he still did not regret it.
