The long-brewing Inner Mongolia-Northeast self-driving tour set off this morning, drove the whole way today, covered 770 kilometers, planned to visit the Huanghuagou Scenic Area of Huiteng Xile Grassland the next day, chose to settle in Zhuozi County, take the Beijing-Tibet-Rongwu-Baomao-Beijing-Tibet Expressway, and arrive at Zhuozi County at 4:50 pm. Stay at Ruitai International Hotel. A 48-hour nucleic acid test report is required for check-in.

After breakfast, depart from Zhuozi County to the Huanghuagou Scenic Area of Huiteng Xile Grassland, stop at Huiteng Xile Grassland, enjoy flowers, and see the power generation windmill forest. When I arrived at the Huanghuagou Scenic Area, due to the strong wind, the cable car did not open, and I didn't buy a set ticket, but only bought a ticket (half ticket 45 yuan / person). There are small trains shuttling on the grassland in the scenic area, but the grasslands along the way are not very beautiful, and they are not as good as the scenery of the grasslands on both sides of the road at the entrance of the scenic area. We decided not to take the train, but to walk on the grassland, watch the grassland and the wildflowers on the grassland, walk around to the edge of Huanghuagou, the hillside of the ditch is full of yellow flowers, named Huanghuagou. The peculiar yellow stones on the northern slopes and the yellow flowers on the grassland complement each other, adding a bit of brilliance to the scenery of Huanghuagou. Follow the slope down the hill to the valley floor, and then follow the trail up to the top of the mountain. Out of the scenic area, there are many cars at the gate, blocked for more than 20 minutes, there are large yellow flowers on the grassland on both sides of the scenic gate road, and its scenery is not inferior to the grassland in the scenic area. Leave Huanghuagou Scenic Area and drive through Jingxin (G7) - Beijing Tibet (G6) - National Highway 335 to Zhangbei County. A 48-hour nucleic acid report is required for check-in at the hotel. Today's destination is Xilinhot, which is about four and a half hours drive from Zhangbei County Town by Haizhang Expressway to Xilinhot. In order to experience the "Grassland Sky Road" that is known as the must-take in this life, we gave up the short road of Haizhang Expressway, first went to the Grassland Sky Road Yehuling Tourist Distribution Center, there is an archway on the road, and the four big characters of "Grassland Sky Road" are written on it, from which we enter the Prairie Sky Road, drive east, and drive out from Birch Ridge, this road is called the Grassland Sky Road East Line. And from Wild Fox Ridge west to White Dragon Cave is called the western route, most tourists are concentrated on the eastern route, so there are many cars along the way, driving very slowly, and occasionally there are traffic jams. It is about 130 kilometers from Wild Fox Ridge to Birch Ridge, with several stops along the road, a total of more than 4 hours and a detour of more than 100 kilometers. And the scenery is far from the "must go in this life" rendered on the Internet, and it is not so good. Although it is called the grassland sky road, there are no large grasslands on both sides of the road, more groves, mountain bags, flowers and plants, farmland and villages, and there is no particularly attractive scenery. It's just that the road is relatively narrow, sometimes undulating, sometimes winding, along the road there are some scenic spots such as the great rivers and mountains, grassland Potala, Huaqian Valley and other viewing attractions, as well as Ferris wheels, go-karts, horseback riding and other entertainment projects, attracting a large number of self-driving enthusiasts to check in. It feels like the second half of the distance close to Birch Ridge is relatively better. After exiting the "Tianlu" from Huapiling, take National Highway 335-Capital Ring Expressway (G95)-National Highway 239-Haizhang Expressway towards Xilinhot. A short walk north from Birch Ridge into the grassland area, the Capital Ring Expressway and National Highway 239 are all vast grasslands, but the grassland here is not a flat river, there are highlands, hills, and mountains, and the grassland scenery along the way is far better than the grassland sky road. However, since the 239 turned into the Haizhang Expressway, the landscape has changed, and the highway is lined with sandy (soil) mounds and groves covered with vegetation. Until crossing the Huiteng River, all the way to Xilinhot, the road is lined with endless grassland, and there is a wind farm on the grassland across the Huiteng River, forming a windmill forest on the vast and flat grassland, the wind blades of the windmills dance under the blowing of the wind, and under the sunlight, like a dancing maiden. Not far from the windmill forest is the wonders of the Pingdingshan Volcanic Geopark, and the top of the large and small peaks is as flat as a knife, which is very peculiar. After driving about 40 kilometers over Pingdingshan to today's destination Xilinhot City, the road at Duolun and Xilinhot toll stations twice to check the nucleic acid test report, overnight at Inner Mongolia Jiuyuan International Hotel, check-in, in addition to the 48-hour nucleic acid report, but also did an antibody test on the spot.

The first stop on today's itinerary is to visit the Beizi Temple in Xilinhot City, known in Chinese as Chongshan Temple, which was built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty and is one of the four major temples in Inner Mongolia. The entire temple complex has seven halls, in addition to the seven halls, there are more than a dozen small halls and more than 2,000 monks' residences, and the whole building is located at the foot of Erdun Obao Mountain (North Mountain), which is large in scale and majestic. For maintenance and other reasons, only one main hall was opened. Walk from Beizi Temple to Erdun Ao Bao Mountain behind the temple, there are a total of 13 Ao Bao on the mountain, which has a history of more than three hundred years, each Ao Bao has its own symbolic meaning, and the largest Ao Bao in the middle is the meaning of eternal life. Offering Ao Bao is a traditional activity of the Mongolian people to pray for smooth winds and rain, prosperity of the five animals, and happiness of the family. Leave Ao Bao Mountain and drive to Jiuqu Wetland Park, more than ten kilometers southeast of Xilinhot City. According to reports, the Xilin River flows through here, leaving some meandering river meandering at different angles, so it is called Xilin Nine Curves. But when we arrived, there were only two not very large ponds and wetlands, there was no "qu" at all, let alone nine curves, and the scenery was very average. There are more than a dozen yurts built next to it, which are basically unfrequented and are not worth visiting at all. After stopping for about half an hour, drive to Huolin Gol on National Highway 207, passing through the Xilin Gol steppe, with green grass along the way, endless and beautiful. In the distance, the mountains are undulating, the blue sky, the white clouds, the cattle, sheep, and horses, what a beautiful picture of "the sky is pale, the wild, and the wind blows the grass and sees the cattle and sheep"! National Highway 207 can be called a thousand miles of grassland viewing avenue, a real grassland sky road. Leaving the national highway on the way, "Zema" follows the path on the grassland into the hinterland to see the beautiful prairie. From Xilinhot to Huolin Gol 400 kilometers, the whole process is running on the grassland, the beautiful grassland is intoxicating, pleasant, forget all the fatigue, all the way to the last play point of today, Huolin Gol Ao Bao meet Khan Mountain grassland scenic spot. Khan Mountain is also called Strange Mountain, Guanyin Mountain, 1199 meters above sea level, formerly known as Hun Dihan Ula, Mongolian means the highest peak in the valley, Khan Mountain View Area was built in 2011, enter from the mountain gate, along the wolf road to Mengyuan Soldier Formation (eight hundred warrior statues), up the steps is Mengyuan Emperor Sculpture Group. Reaching the top of the mountain, you can see the vast and beautiful grassland around, and the scenery is very beautiful. After leaving the scenic area, come to the city of Huolingol to end today's journey. Before arriving at the hotel, take samples of nucleic acid at the Hollingol City Hospital. Starting from Hollingol City to Arshan City, continue to run on the grassland, all the way through the Ulagai steppe, first to the Ulagai Jiuqu Bay. This nine curves is not another nine curves, it is a real nine curves, enter the scenic area and take a shuttle bus for several kilometers to reach the top of the mountain, standing on the top of the mountain and looking out, a small river flows out of the Ulagai Lake, like a giant snake winding and wriggling forward on the flat grassland, drawing a graceful and beautiful picture on the beautiful grassland. From Jiuqu Bay, drive west along Provincial Highway 101 for about 80 kilometers to the Brin Spring Scenic Area, which includes two scenic spots: Brin Spring and "Corps Town". Come to Brin Spring, take a sip of the clear and sweet spring water, and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding grassland. "Corps Town" is the filming place of the movie "Wolf Totem", and anyone who has seen the "Wolf Totem" novel or movie should know that the story of "Wolf Totem" takes place in the Xilin Gol steppe, and the Ulagai steppe is part of the Xilin Gol steppe. Leave Brin Spring and go in the direction of Arshan, pass through the Ulagai Wild Wolf Valley, after watching the grassland wild wolves in the Wild Wolf Valley, follow the county road 502 towards Arshan City, although it is a county road, but the road conditions are very good, there is no speed limit monitoring, and the speed can reach 100 km / h. Driving on the grassland, taking county roads or even rural roads, you can more closely contact and appreciate the beauty of the grassland, and unlike the national highway speed monitoring, it is more free and happy. After driving on the county road 502 for a while, turn to the national highway 331 (A second line), there is a large bridge in the middle that has not been repaired, and it is necessary to detour 2 or 3 kilometers to the dirt road, the road condition is very poor, but it is barely passable. About 100 kilometers from Arshan City, leave the grassland and enter the mountains, close to the edge of the Daxing'anling forest, and the road is flanked by birch forests. Today's main activity is a visit to the Alshan Mountains.
It is about 60 kilometers from Arshan City to the entrance of the scenic area of Arshan Forest Park (Jinjianggou), and it is an hour's drive. The Alshan Scenic Area is composed of several scenic spots (points), and each scenic spot is relatively far apart, which could have been divided into several different scenic spots, allowing self-driving to reach different scenic spots separately. However, the scenic visitor center (the entrance of the scenic spot) is located in Jinjianggou at the foot of the mountain, tens of kilometers away from the viewing point. If you buy a ticket by car, you can enter the mountain, but you cannot reach the entrance of each attraction. Take a sightseeing bus from the gate of the scenic spot first pass through Wusu Langzi Lake (non-stop), about 15 minutes later to the Aarshan Tianchi transfer point, go to Aarshan Tianchi to transfer here, to other attractions without getting off, continue to move forward, first to the farthest Humpridge Tianchi, the whole journey of 40 kilometers, 1 hour.
