Zhao Peisong, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee of Lai'an Economic Development Zone (Dingqian Functional Zone), introduced that since the construction of the start-up area was launched in March 2021, the Lai'an County Government has invested a total of about 6 billion yuan to complete a total of 10,000 mu of land acquisition and 1,282 house relocation and resettlement, orderly build a 25-kilometer road network, 250,000 square meters of standardized workshops, 330,000 square meters of resettlement houses, 3 substations, 1 sewage treatment plant, 1 passenger transport hub center, 1 comprehensive utilization and treatment center of resources, as well as green landscape, comprehensive pipe network, water conservancy projects, some of which have been put into use in June 2022.
"We closely follow the industrial positioning of 'two cities and one center' in Nanjing Jiangbei New Area, cultivate and build electronic information industrial park, life and health industrial park, at present, has formed intelligent manufacturing, new energy, new materials, electronic information, life and health and other characteristic leading industries, the number of large-scale enterprises and high-tech enterprises reached 221, 87 respectively, 50 specialized and special new 'little giant' enterprises, 65 strategic emerging industry enterprises, and 1 enterprise with an output value of 10 billion yuan." Zhao Peisong introduced that Lai'an County and Nanjing Jiangbei New Area signed the Framework Agreement on the Joint Construction of the Dingshan-Yanhe Cross-border Integrated Development Demonstration Zone, jointly established a demonstration area construction promotion team, and listed the "Jiangbei New Area-Yanhe Biomedical Industry Cooperation Zone". Especially in terms of transportation interconnection, around the "one track, three bridges and two hubs", we actively build the main connection channel with Nanjing Jiangbei New Area. Among them, the Chuning Intercity Railway is scheduled to open about 50 kilometers of the section from Chuzhou to Yanhe in June 2023; The Yanhe Bridge has been fully opened to traffic with 6 lanes in both directions.
