As soon as she became an adult, she resolutely joined the army and embarked on the path of learning from her father, and later, she was recognized by the army with her own efforts and became the first female general of the armed police.
However, during this period, she also suffered a lot of hardships, and was once detained for a long time with her family because of her father's persecution. But this bad experience did not wear down her will, but made her stronger.
Join the army and go to prison
In December 1943, against the backdrop of war, a little baby girl was born in a dilapidated thatched hut in Yi County, Hebei Province. She is Yang Junsheng. At that time, her father Yang Chengwu was even wearing a military uniform with blood stains, hurriedly returning from the battlefield, and before he had time to carefully examine her face, he had to urgently entrust her to the local villagers to raise with pity and indebtedness.
Her mother, Zhao Zhizhen, who had just given birth and was then deputy secretary of the prefectural women's committee, did not have time to recuperate, so because of the needs of the revolution, she quickly followed her husband and the army to move to other places. Fortunately, her adoptive father and adoptive mother are very attentive to her.
Especially her adoptive father, as an old underground member of the CCP, completely regarded Yang Junsheng as his own, even if his family was poor and he encountered a rush day, he did not forget to buy her half a baked cake and sandwich a piece of donkey meat. Her adoptive mother, as a simple rural woman, also played the role of mother well during those five years and gave her a lot of love.
So that 5 years later, when Yang Junsheng returned to her biological parents, she did not forget her adoptive father and adoptive mother. The two families remained in close contact until the death of their adoptive parents.
Because he was fully cared for during his growth, Yang Junsheng was outgoing, cheerful and brave. In 1961, at the age of 18, she ushered in a key decision in her life, and at this "crossroads", she was greatly influenced by her parents and decided to join the army.
Yang Junsheng is very clear about her advantages and disadvantages, although she wants to learn from her father, but she knows that she is not the material to lead troops to fight, she was admitted to Harbin Military Engineering Institute, studied missile automatic control department, decided to train herself into military technical talents, and also contribute to the operation of the army.
In 1968, Yang Junsheng, who successfully graduated, began to serve in the Chinese Strategic Missile Forces through organizational arrangements. Unfortunately, she did not have time to fulfill her ambitions, and a month later, her father, Yang Chengwu, was mistreated and sent to prison.
As his daughter and a cadre in the army, Yang Junsheng was immediately implicated and imprisoned, where he suffered countless tortures. For 7 years, she lost her dignity and freedom.
Comeback and rise
Yang Junsheng resumed work in 1974. In this year, she was transferred to the Second Artillery Corps and served as a staff officer in the Science and Technology Department of the headquarters, mainly engaged in missile scientific research.
In 1983, after the establishment of the Chinese People's Armed Police Force and the establishment of its headquarters in Beijing, upon the recommendation of Marshal Nie Rongzhen, Li Gang, the first commander of the Armed Police Force, and Zhao Cangbi, the first political commissar of the Armed Police Force, passed the examination and left the Second Artillery Corps to serve in the Armed Police Force.
After that, until her retirement, she never left the armed police force. Because of his continuous contributions, Yang Junsheng's ability has been recognized by the leaders of the army and has been promoted many times.
In 1993, she became the head of the Technical Equipment Department of the Armed Police Command, and established the Armed Police Science and Technology Development Department and the Equipment and Equipment Research Institute. Three years later, she obtained the rank of major general of the armed police, becoming the first female general of the armed police. It was also from this year that she officially enjoyed the special allowance of the State Council.
Yang Junsheng fulfilled her original wish, and along the way, her parents and adoptive parents were proud of her. She has indeed lived up to their expectations and the cultivation of the organization.
