Shao Anhong The first oil man to reach the top from the north slope
His name is Shao Anhong, a retired employee of Changqing Oilfield, who is 61 years old this year.
On May 18, Shao Anhong and the folk climbers officially set off from the base camp on the Chinese side (North Slope), which lasted for 6 days and successfully climbed the 8848.86-meter Mount Everest at about 11:30 on May 23.
"Although the journey was full of dangers, I was blown away by the spectacular sight after climbing to the top. In particular, May 23 is also the day when 13 members of the Chinese expedition team successfully reached the summit, and we climbed the world's highest peak on the same day, which is of great significance to me. Shao Anhong sighed with emotion.

Shao Anhong is not only a mountaineering enthusiast, but also a person who challenges the limits of life and creates miracles in life! Why do you say that?
Because 19 years ago, in 2004, Shao Anhong was hospitalized with cirrhosis and had to leave work temporarily. In September of the same year, he underwent a liver transplant. During the long years of fighting the disease, he insisted on rehabilitation training day after day with an extreme desire for life and a full love for life.
With the improvement of his health, since 2008, he has always loved sports, and began to try outdoor climbing activities in Qinling, and thus met many like-minded good friends. In the exploration and challenge again and again, it gave him the courage and confidence to climb higher peaks!
Shao Anhong has not stopped climbing the snowy mountain since successfully climbing the 6,178-meter-high Jade Everest in Qinghai in 2016. Until 2020, when he was confident and determined to climb Mount Everest, he had to give up due to altitude intestinal obstruction during the training process. In the past three years, he has continuously strengthened his physical training and improved his climbing skills, and finally reached the top of the world at a height of 8848.86 meters on May 23, 2023.
From a liver transplant patient whose life was in danger to a warrior who challenged the limits of life to climb Mount Everest, he overcame countless difficulties with practical actions, surpassed himself, continued his life, and created miracles. His successful ascent to the top has brought great encouragement and new hope to liver transplant patients, and also inspired more of us to love life and challenge ourselves.
