No place is perfect, but it has to be admitted that Switzerland is close.
From breathtaking mountain peaks to fantastic turquoise lakes to countryside full of ancient wonders, Switzerland really has something for everyone.
1. Jungfraujoch
The idyllic Jungfrau region, with its towering peaks, glaciers and thundering waterfalls, will trigger a breather of wonder wherever you go.
As you might expect, the Swiss have built the railway here, and this is the highest railway station in Europe (3454 meters).

In addition, the 23 km glacier Aletsch Glacier is not to be missed, opening a path on the peaks that hover around 4,000 meters, and the glacier is a UNESCO World Heritage Site of Jungfraujoch - Aletsch in the Swiss Alps.
2. Matterhorn
Standing at an impressive 4,478 meters, thrill-seeking climbers from all over the world come to Switzerland to try their hand at the summit.
Home to the highest cable car station in the Alps, with views to the summit and beyond, there's nothing more Swiss than a trip to the Matterhorn.
3. Bern
Wandering through the narrow cobblestones of the old town, you'll soon realize why the neighborhood is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
You'll find a wide variety of boutiques, bars and bears, and yes, that's right, a bear park for the bear family, just across the river from the old town.
In addition, the museum inside the old apartment of Albert Einstein will be the closest to the opportunity to get to know the genius not to be missed.
4. Chillon Castle
No tour of the Swiss Riviera is complete without a visit to the medieval Chillon Castle. Located on an island in Lake Geneva, near the popular town of Montreux, the castle dates back to the 10th century, when it was used as a strategic water fort.
Visit the castle's three luxurious halls, rest in the impressive weapons room, and enjoy a boat ride from Montreux to the castle.
5. Swiss National Parks
From snow-capped glaciers to stunning meadows, this place has it all. There are many hiking trails to choose from, each of which takes visitors past unforgettable sights. And, if you're lucky, you might see some of the park's red squirrels, goats, and red deer.
6. Lake Geneva
Lake Geneva, which stretches from Geneva in the west to Lausanne in the east, is one of the most beautiful places in Switzerland.
There is also a lot of activity on the lake. Windsurfing, water skiing and kayaking are all things that more active visitors to the area can enjoy. If you're too lazy to move, simply sit back and enjoy the lake views from the deck of a cruise ship or sample local wines on a vineyard tour.
7. Lugano
Nestled on the shores of the breathtaking Lake Lugano, known as the Monte Carlo of Switzerland, the city blends Swiss and Italian culture for an unforgettable weekend getaway.
Outside the city, impressive villas are scattered across lush hillsides rising from the lake.
8. Lucerne
In a country of picturesque lakeside cities, nothing is more impressive than Lucerne. Walking through the charming old town, you'll think you've stepped into a painting.
There are ancient churches, bustling squares, and lots of boutiques for you to explore while marveling at the city's architectural wonders. But the highlight has to be the Church Bridge, a covered wooden bridge that has connected the city centre of Lucerne since 1333.
9. Rhine Falls
This is the most powerful waterfall in Europe, and you can enjoy the view of the waterfall located near the northern town of Schaffhausen from several observation decks. If you're feeling adventurous, you can even rent a canoe and check out some of the nearby castles from the water.
10. Zurich
A trip to Switzerland isn't perfect without a trip to Zurich. Yes, the headquarters of the Swiss Bank as we know it is in Zurich, the largest city in Switzerland and the social and cultural center of Switzerland.
The city is easy to see stunning views from the charming streets of the Old Town to Lake Zurich.
