LAVAZZA is a well-known coffee brand from Italy, born in Turin, Italy in 1895. In early 2020, Yum China and Lavazza, a family-run coffee brand in Italy, co-operated in China, and Lavazza's first coffee flagship store outside Italy landed in Shanghai's Jing'an Temple business district.
With a 128-year heritage, Lavazza, a coffee family, can be said to have witnessed almost the entire history of Italian coffee. Space coffee became a reality in 1895, when its founder Luihi Lavazza developed the art of blending coffee beans of different origins and characteristics to meet the tastes of customers, to the development of ISSpresso (the first coffee machine in space) with Argotec in 2015 in collaboration with the Italian Space Agency (ASI).
