< H1 class = "pgc-h-arrow-right" > if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does not improve the team's form, United may soon be looking for a new manager. </h1>
Zidane's experience working with world-class talent could make him a better candidate for the new Manchester United manager, with former Real Madrid boss Zidane having won three Champions League games and la Liga with the trio of Ronaldo and Varane. After Ronaldo's move to Juventus in 2018, Zidane and Varane won another league title.
United completed a huge £120 million deal ahead of the season, targeting the Premier League title. Both Ronaldo and Varane were signed, and Sancho was signed from Borussia Dortmund for £73m. But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has so far failed to activate the trio, although Ronaldo has scored six goals in all competitions. But management needs to take United to a higher level, at least at the same level as Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea. But the weekend rout exposed everything and management may already be watching for a new manager, with Zidane being a good option.
During real Madrid's Zidane era, Ronaldo scored a staggering 112 goals in 114 games. The 49-year-old coach left Real Madrid at the end of the season and Ronaldo is likely to welcome him.
Given the large number of big names in the squad, the former French midfielder could be a better successor to Ole Gunnar Solskja than Pochettino, who so far failed to play at the best of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe at Paris Saint-Germain.
Manchester United legend Gary Neville agrees. He told Sky Sports: "I think there was something constructive about last season and I think if you ask him privately (Solskjaer) do you want the squad back from last season? "I think he might go back.
"They had six grenades and the pins in the dressing room were pulled out.
"It's doable, I've seen Bosque lead Real Madrid into the Champions League.
