In the revolutionary years when war was raging and full of dangers, it was these people who abandoned everything they had been and threw themselves into the vigorous revolutionary cause, and they sacrificed too much, even their most precious lives, and what they thought of at the end of their lives may be the most unforgettable thing in this life.
The protagonist we are talking about today is a heroic ancestor who is willing to dedicate himself to the revolution. In his short life of 36 years to make endless contributions to the cause of the revolution, after his arrest, he was tortured, his limbs were nailed to the wall, but he endured so much pain, adhered to his faith, and died calmly. He is Cai Hesen, who once worked with the chairman and called him "double male".

Cai and Sen were born in 1895 in Yongfeng Township (now Part of Shuangfeng County) in Xiangxiang Township, Hunan Province. His father works in the Jiangnan Manufacturing General Bureau, works in Shanghai all year round, and it is difficult to see his father several times a year, and the family's life depends on his mother.
His mother, Ge Jianhao, was an outstanding woman in modern China, and although she was a woman, she had a bold personality and was willing to rebel against feudal worldliness. The in-laws are close to Qiu Jin's hometown, and the two have similar personalities and become close friends who talk about everything.
Later, Qiu Jin dedicated herself to the revolution, and Ge Jianhao often remembered this friend, and also told her children about the revolutionary road she learned through Qiu Jin. Cai Hesen's later life was so brilliant and great, and it was also very related to his mother's childhood education.
Later, in order not to delay the children's studies, the mother sold her jewelry for them to study. Cai and Sen did not fail their mother, and were admitted to the Hunan Provincial First Normal School with excellent results, and it was here that Cai and Sen met Chairman Mao, and the two talents were equally educated, had similar temperaments, had the same lofty ambitions, and became Yang Changji's two favorite students.
In the provincial first division, the best school in Hunan, Cai Hesen knew more and more young people who were as talented and assertive as the chairman. At that time, he and the chairman and Xiao Zisheng were called the "Three Friends of Xiangjiang", and Xiao Zisheng once commented on Cai and Sen: "He and Runzhi have their own strengths, and Runhuan (Cai and Sen) can express his ideas well in articles, sometimes better than Runzhi expresses."
And their mentor had a high evaluation of the two, and before Mr. Yang Died, he thought Zhang Shizhao had written a letter of recommendation:

In 1919, with the full support of his mother, Cai hesen embarked on the road to work-study in France.
Before leaving, their funds have been uneven, and finally the mother came forward, through the relationship between the mother's family, found the descendants of Zeng Guofan and asked them to fund a sum of money to solve this big problem. When everything was ready, Cai Hesen and his sister Cai Chang also persuaded their mother to go to Europe with them.
Stepping onto that strange and novel continent is first of all to break through the language barrier. He studied like crazy, and in just five months he was able to read the French press and the books of the Russian Revolution, and to communicate briefly in French.
By reaching out to the French working class and working with them, you get in touch with the lowest levels of Western society. A large number of practices led him to form a view that Chinese society must carry out reforms and follow the path of the Russian Revolution, and since then he has become a staunch follower of Marxism, and after a long period of investigation, research and study, he has gradually become an excellent expert in theoretical research.
It is worth mentioning that the first person in our Party to put forward the term "Communist Party of China" and to appear in the written record was Cai Hesen, who also became the first person in our Party to systematically propagate Lenin's theory of party building.
At the time of the congress in 1921, the French branch received no news, so there were no representatives to attend the meeting, but this cannot deny the outstanding contribution made by Cai and Sen to the founding of our party.

The time spent studying abroad was not much, but it had a great influence on Cai and Sen, and more importantly, on the ship to France, he and Xiang Jianyu went from acquaintance to love, and officially came together in June 1920. It is worth mentioning that his wife is also an important founder of our party, and the only female founder.
At the end of 1921, after returning to China, Cai Hesen was honorably joined the Communist Party of China by Chen Duxiu as an introducer, and soon after the "Second Congress", he and his wife Xiang Jingyu were elected as members of the Central Committee at the same time. After that, until he was arrested and killed, he served as a member of the Central Committee for 5 consecutive terms and was also elected as a member of the Standing Committee, and it can be said that Cai hesen's position in the party is getting higher and higher.
Later, Cai Hesen led the May Thirtieth Movement, held a number of important positions in the central government, and also served as the post of propaganda minister, the work was very busy, long-term overwork, so that Cai hesen had asthma attacks, and even to the point of stopping work and going to the Soviet Union to recuperate. For various reasons, Cai Hesen and Xiang Jianyu also decided to break up during this period.
Although the two are no longer husband and wife, but the revolutionary friendship still exists forever, after the arrest of the police in 1928, Cai and Sen rushed to contact Xiao Zisheng to help rescue each other after hearing the news, but unfortunately they did not return. Later, after the sacrifice of Xiang Jingyu, Cai Hesen, who was still recuperating in Moscow, also wrote a biography of Xiang Jingyu to pin his deep sorrow.
They, a couple who have not completed the journey of life, are great revolutionaries, and they have also sacrificed their precious lives for the cause of revolution.

In 1931, the Guangdong Provincial Committee was severely damaged, and a capable person had to be selected to lead the work of restoring the revolutionary organizations of the two provinces. Cai Hesen, who had just returned to China at that time, took on this heavy responsibility and became the secretary of the Liangguang Provincial Party Committee.
Unexpectedly, a month later, Gu Shunzhang's rebellion made an important change in the work that was originally smooth. Due to Gu's reasons, the party organization has been greatly damaged, and the identities of many leaders have been exposed.
In June, when Cai and Sen went to Hong Kong to attend the meeting, Gu Ye heard the news and brought agents to come, and someone had advised Cai and Sen not to go to the meeting site before, but he thought that the meeting was very important and did not give up. In the middle of the meeting, Gu Shunzhang recognized him and arrested him on the spot.
In order to make Cai and Sen submit, the agents tortured cai and Sen with large iron nails to the wall, and he passed out in pain without saying a word. The enemy was still angry, and then used his bayonet to cut off his flesh little by little, and finally stabbed into his chest and chest, so cai and sen passed away and died heroically. He was 36 years old.
His sacrifice has deprived our party of another outstanding talent. However, his unfinished revolutionary legacy was continued by his family, his sister Cai Chang and brother-in-law Li Fuchun all became important leaders of our party, and after the founding of the People's Republic of China, they also held important positions, Li Fuchun was at the level of the state, Cai Chang served as vice chairman for two terms, he was a vice-state level, and their family was a tribute to the revolutionary ancestors.
