Speedrunners of the Legend of Zelda series of games have discovered a number of bugs in Kingdom Tears. These vulnerabilities are far more powerful than the "tricks" often used in previous games. One of the loopholes allows Link to "cross time and space" and "steal" the Master Sword with infinite durability; There are also loopholes that allow Link to stack weapons infinitely in his hand, allowing a weapon to gain multiple effects at the same time, and even finally causing the game to get stuck until many mechanics completely collapse, allowing Link to "escape through the wall".
Before going into detail about these vulnerabilities, I would like to remind you of two points: 1, players who have not cleared the level or started playing Kingdom Tears need to be careful of the spoilers that may be included; 2. These vulnerabilities do not necessarily make sense to the average player, and abuse of the vulnerabilities may ruin the game experience, so please use them with caution.

Linkus7 is a speedrunner for games such as Zelda, Hitman 3, and more. His latest YouTube video incorporates a large number of vulnerabilities recently discovered by the Speedrun community.
First, he reviewed the previously discovered weapon duplication vulnerability (those who don't know about the vulnerability can go to our official TikTok). The loophole, he explained, is essentially the transfer of weapons from one archive to another. Next, Link will become a "Time Thief" and steal the Master Sword from another Link who has just started. The process is more complicated.
Infinite Durability Master Sword Loophole
Step 1: The player needs to teleport to the initial empty island, and the player obtains the "Temple of Ian Isa" with the ability to build leftovers (weapon/shield fusion materials). After entering the temple, players will want to get an auto-save save (if there is no auto-save, you can leave the temple and re-enter, this save will be used many times later, it is very important!). ）。 The player will then need to choose to save manually.
Step 2: After manually archiving, select Exit to Start Menu screen. Then select Start a new game. At this point, the game will alert the player that your save may be overwritten and progress will be lost: Kingdom Tears saves have a limited number of saves, including 5 auto-save saves and 1 manually saved save. Auto-saves occur every 5 minutes, and as long as the player does not save manually, only 1 manual save will not be overwritten.
Step 3: Skip the initial animation and control Link to follow the route of the underground cave, stopping halfway through a long staircase (be careful not to trigger the subsequent cutscenes that officially start the game!). ）。 Open the menu, tap "Load" and make sure your new game doesn't have more than 2 autosaves. Manual save after confirmation (will overwrite the manual save archive in the previous temple).
Step 4: After manually saving the new game, click "Load" to return to the autosave you previously entered the temple. At this point, Linkus7 begins to explain how this vulnerability works: when using the replication vulnerability, the weapon lost by the player will drop in another save according to the player's location coordinates, and the coordinates in the middle of the new save staircase are similar to the coordinates of a specific location in this temple. In the Temple save, the player glues a large rock block and a small rock block to the shape shown in the picture (Extreme Hand Skill) and then places them in the position shown in the picture.
Step 5: Climb the big rocks and jump on the small rocks. Link may slide downwards at this point, so you'll need to pause the game the moment you jump on the rock, and use the copy weapon bug at this point (go to the menu, throw the weapon in the equipment from the backpack, equip another weapon, very quick switch menu) and don't unpause the manual save directly to your previous one.
Step 6: If, after entering a new save, you find weapons dropped between you on the ground, it means you've succeeded! At this time, pick up the weapon, and Link in the new game will gain the ability to open the backpack, and he will be able to throw away the special master sword in his hand! By this time, you should already understand: with one more copy weapon loophole, you can pass this special Master Sword that is only available in the beginning of the game to your main save! Remember to pick up your weapon and walk up to the specific steps shown in the image (a little higher than the others as you can see in the third image below), create a new manual save, and then proceed to the next step.
Step 7: After using the Copy Weapon vulnerability on the Master Sword, load the oldest temple auto-save. Go back to the vicinity where you placed the stone and you'll find this special Infinite Endurance Master Sword called "MsgNotFound". After all, the player can't open the backpack in the first place, so the game developers didn't name this special weapon.

But at this time, you will find that this master sword cannot be upgraded using material fusion. Never mind that Linkus7 also introduces a bug that allows you to fuse multiple weapons together. This means that one attack by Link can trigger multiple effects. Linkus7 explained that this bug can be fused multiple times, eventually causing problems with many features that the game is supposed to have, such as standing on a joystick that allows Link to pass through the ground.
Weapon Unlimited Fusion Loophole
Step 1: Check your version of the game. Version 1.0 can be triggered anywhere (because the game is stuck), and version 1.1.0 or the latest version 1.1.1 can still trigger the vulnerability, but requires additional steps. If you're in the newer version, turn Link away from the wall and have "almost a Link distance" between Link and the wall.
Step 2: Make sure you have 2 two-handed weapons that don't fuse any materials/items (preferably weapons you don't care about, sticks, etc.), and 6 weapons/shields that you can throw from your backpack. Linkus7 uses a shield demo because it's easier to understand.
Step 3: Press the Y key and Link will pull out the weapon/shield. At this point, pay attention to the weapon you want to stack.
Step 4: Open the menu and discard 6 weapons/shields. Then discard the weapon you are equipped with (remember it is the 7th discarded item) and equip an unfused weapon that you want to fuse into that weapon. Then quickly switch the menu. If Link is still holding the first weapon you want to fuse in the blurred background, it means that you have succeeded! If the 7th weapon you discarded comes back, it means you failed. Readjust the distance between the wall and Link and repeat this step!
Step 5: Discard the weapon currently equipped and equip the 2nd Unfused weapon. Quickly switch the menu on and off again. If you see the weapon you discarded to fuse back in your backpack, you've succeeded! Close the menu and you'll see Link with two weapons in his hands.
Step 6: Drop the material/weapon you want to fuse on the ground and use the weapon material fusion skill, at which point you will see that the fused object is the unfused weapon in your hand. Select Fusion. Discard the fused weapon you're equipped with, at which point you'll need to pick up only the one you want, and never the other one (the one you discarded).
Step 7: Open the menu and you'll see that the new weapon has been successfully fused, which can also be used for the Infinite Durability Master Sword that you "stolen".
After that, you can repeat the steps above (which also means that you'll have to collect a lot of unfused weapons that you don't care about) to perform unlimited fusion on the same weapon. If you use a weapon with elemental attacks (weapons that fuse elemental gems), it will cause the game to get more and more stuck, and after a certain level, many bugs will occur in the game, such as piercing the wall.
