For apartment living, look for a cat that is usually calm, friendly, but doesn't need much attention.
Avoid the use of smart cat breeds, as tight spaces may not provide enough mental stimulation to make them feel satisfied. As a result, they may start engaging in destructive behavior.
01 American shorthair cat
The American Shorthair is a purebred version of a domestic shorthair cat that is an easy-going cat that likes to hang out with humans. As long as your home is adequate for their social needs, these cats can live well in the apartment. But they are also good at entertaining themselves with toys and looking out the windows.

02 Birman cat

03 English shorthair cat

04 Burmese cat

05 Exotic shorthair cat
