Time is hurried, the blink of an eye is about to enter the third year of high school, this is the last summer vacation of my high school life, seize the holiday tail with only a few days left, follow the South China Agricultural University "college students three to the countryside" service team, walking on the bluestone road of the ancient yidao in the mountains of northern Guangdong, carrying out the field investigation of the biology and local cultural landscape along the ancient yidao, let me let go of the mood, temporarily forget the complexity of the coursework, thank you South China Agricultural University for giving me this rare opportunity to practice.

The teachers leading the team this time are all experts and professors of South China Agricultural University, and most of the members of the group are graduate students majoring in landscape architecture. Listening to the teachers, the research activities of the ancient yidao have been strongly supported by the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, the provincial government and the provincial housing and urban-rural construction department, and they aim to deeply explore the cultural connotation of the ancient yidao, restore the historical style of the ancient yidao and the ancient village with scene reproduction and other techniques, and awaken people's historical memory. As a high school student who loves biology, in addition to assisting the team's research work, I also saw some rare birds and insects in the city, and I will introduce some of them to you below.

On August 16, the "Three Trips to the Countryside" team arrived at the Xijing Ancient Post Road in Daqiao Town, Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County, where several emerald-eyed butterflies (Junonia orithya) fluttered in a sea of cosmos (Cosmos bipinnata) flowers, and sapphire-colored wings shone in the bright sun. After the sea of flowers, there are herbs, magnificent and desolate.

When the emerald blue eye butterfly spreads its wings, you know why it is called this name, and it is also its most beautiful time, but it is a pity that the shooting is hurried, this time can not capture its most beautiful shot, had to wait for the next time, in order to make up for regrets, just find a winged emerald blue eye butterfly on the Internet, to meet everyone.

The thousand-year-old wind and frost have tempered the ancient road, and the rugged strange stones have been extended all the way, telling the mystery and antiquity of the ancient road. The unfathomable ravines beside the road leach a clear mountain spring, nourishing a patch of moss and giving birth to several rice shrimps.

In the trees next to the road, on the branches that stretch out to the sky as best as possible, there are a few goldfinches (Chloris sinica), noisy and frolicking, and the red mountain pepper bird (Pericrocotus speciosus) spreads its wings and soars, without dispute with the world, how dashing!

On the Meiguan Ancient Road, I saw all kinds of locusts bouncing and dancing, like cars and horses passing by a thousand years ago. Dragonflies leisurely inhabit the weeds, like hermits living in the mountains. The butterfly (Silver Line Grey Butterfly Spindasis lohita) flutters merrily through the mountains like a poet of a wandering skeleton. The people of the past have gone, but these beings have been with this ancient path since ancient times...

In the creek next to the ancient road, there is also a rice shrimp (Neocaridina denticulata), and when I approached it, it was leisurely waving its two clips, sending a trace of water sponge to its mouth.
