Using transcriptomics, proteomics and epigenetics, the cold resistance characteristics of the pigs were systematically studied, and they identified the candidate genes for cold resistance and their enrichment pathways, and proposed the cold resistance mechanism of the pigs for the first time. They also identified and explored the resource characteristics and molecular mechanisms of pig disease resistance, coarse feeding resistance, good meat quality and strong fecundity; identified the composition characteristics of the intestinal flora of the pig's roughage tolerance; identified the genes and SNPs markers of good meat quality on the basis of measuring and comparing the quality of the pork, and developed a series of genetic test kits.
