After the neighboring countries changed the situation, China's layout reached a critical moment, and Pakistan must not be chaotic

After the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan of neighboring Pakistan on the 9th, it triggered large-scale riots in Pakistan. On 11 May, Pakistan's Supreme Court invalidated the arrest warrant for Imran Khan and demanded his immediate release and personal safety.

The chief justice also urged Imran Khan to call on his supporters to stop the violent riots and restore order in the country. In this way, the situation of "changing the sky" in Pakistan seems to have been reversed under the auspices of the Supreme Court.

However, the Pakistani government has expressed dissatisfaction with the Supreme Court's decision, which they believe is a compromise of the court's violence and will condone frequent violence. It can be seen that the political struggle in Pakistan is still in a fierce whirlpool, and the various forces have become entangled.

Pakistan is an important neighbor in the western part of the mainland, and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is an important part of the "Belt and Road" initiative, and at this critical moment, Pakistan must not be in chaos.

Imran Khan was ousted by the National Assembly last year, causing strong dissatisfaction among supporters. Its rival, incumbent Prime Minister Sharif, represents conservative vested interests and is pro-American, and the struggle and antagonism between the two sides is fierce.

The use of forcible removal of Imran Khan has already provoked serious resentment among his supporters. Khan was shot at a public event last November, after which he accused the military of orchestrating the assassination. This shows that the military, which was originally in an independent position, has also been involved in this infighting.

On 9 May, a large number of military police suddenly arrested Imran Khan in a very brutal manner, an operation that his supporters described as a "kidnapping". Crowds then flocked to Islamabad, besieged the military's air base, and burned a fighter jet.

If this infighting had been limited to party strife and political bickering, it would not have triggered riots of such magnitude. However, Imran Khan's opponents frequently used tough and even illegal means to persecute Imran Khan himself, which ignited the fuse in the hearts of supporters.

It is clear that the situation has greatly exceeded the expectations of Pakistan's Supreme Court and the military, and Imran Khan's supporters are mainly urban middle-class groups, which are large in size and have never been organized into politics before. Now they are united by Imran Khan's call to form a powerful force. The military felt unprecedented pressure.

Now that Imran Khan has been freed and protected, the Sharif group is strongly unhappy with this, coupled with the embarrassing military position. Pakistan's internal contradictions are difficult to resolve in a short period of time, and if this matter is not properly handled, it is likely to cause a major chaos.

There are indications that external forces have infiltrated and are fuelling the situation. Foreign Minister Qin Gang recently visited Islamabad and reminded Pakistan of the hope that Pakistan can stabilize the domestic situation.

This month, the summit of the leaders of the five Central Asian countries will be held in Xi'an to discuss important plans to promote peace and development in Central Asia. Afghanistan is also actively joining the Belt and Road Initiative and hopes to extend the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor to Afghanistan.

This is a critical period for us to promote the extension of the Belt and Road Initiative to the western interior, so for us, Pakistan must not be chaotic at this time. Pakistan needs to be reminded that no matter who is in power, no matter how much competition is held, one of the most important prerequisites is to maintain stability, otherwise it will be Pakistan itself that will suffer huge losses!
