The little egret is a resident bird. Slim and milky white. Adults with summer feathers breed with two narrow, soft spear-like feathers on the pillow, like double braids; shoulders and chests with raw feathers, which often fall off in all parts of the winter feathers, and the iris is yellow; the bare parts of the face are yellow-green, the mouth is black, the chapped and lower mouth are pale horned yellow; the shins and feet are black, and the toes are yellowish-green.
