MOD author Nigeez recently released a new HD Material Pack, a complete overhaul of Red Dead Redemption 2's terrain materials. Unlike other packs, this pack uses custom assets instead of AI-stretched ones.
In terms of detail, the pack offers reflected light and normal maps at 2K resolution, while AO, roughness, and height maps have a resolution of 1K.
It should be noted that this mod currently only covers the main story area, not a complete terrain map replacement, and some areas may still see the original map, such as all areas from Blackwater Town to the south are original maps.
