Dotemu is returning with a classic Nintendo DS game, partnering with Capybara Games to release the definitive version of Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes. It's been 13 years since Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes was first released on the Nintendo DS. This puzzle RPG quickly became popular among fans of the genre, although the game bore little resemblance to previous Might & Magic games. Its story can even serve as a prequel to Might & Magic 5. Players take on the role of five different protagonists, each leading a separate faction of units, including knights, demons, elves, wizards, and necromancers. Players will match groups of units on their "battlefield" to attack enemies lined up opposite sides in turn-based battles.

The final version of Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes will update the platform with classic puzzle RPGs, enhancing and improving the game, while also providing a realistic original experience. Dotemu will release the final version of Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes on PC, PS4 and Switch. The final version of Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes is planned to start with a "refresh" of character art and likeness to ensure the game's visual look on console. To ensure that the game meets the expectations of modern gamers, the game also makes various additional (but not specific) quality of life changes. Finally, and perhaps most interestingly, Dotemu has completely rebalanced the multiplayer mode of Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes.

Of course, this isn't the first time Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes has been reissued. It was also remastered in 2011 and released for PS3 and Xbox 360, which explains why the game had a high resolution in the first place. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions also received substantial balanced updates, on which the latest version of Dotemu will build on it.

Dotemu also confirmed that this will be a truly final version and will include the game's DLC. The I Am The Boss DLC allows players to play as Azexez, Count Carlyle, Ludmilla, and Azh-Rafir. There will also be an all-new multiplayer boss, Grand Druidyuni. Fans of Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes and the Nintendo DS puzzle game should be pleased with Dotemu's work.

Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes will be available on PC, PS4 and Switch this summer.
