On April 11, the Jinquan Forest Public Security Police Station of the 67th Regiment of the 4th Division of the Xinjiang Corps received an alarm call from Deng Bing, an employee of the second company of the regiment, saying that a turtle with a radial pattern on its back was found, suspected of being a state-protected animal. The police station immediately sent police to the scene to inspect.

After on-site inspection, this is a radiant tortoise with a body length of about 30 centimeters, which is one of the rarest tortoises in the world, mainly breeding in the southern part of Madagascar. According to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, it is a protected animal at the national level, an alien species, and will be disposed of in accordance with relevant regulations in the future.
In recent years, the Jinquan Forest Public Security Police Station of the 67th Regiment has continuously increased its publicity on the protection of wild animals by opening hotlines, visiting households, distributing leaflets, etc., enhancing the awareness of wildlife protection among the staff and workers, and advocating harmonious coexistence between people and wild animals. Since the beginning of this year, the Jinquan Forest Public Security Police Station of the Sixty-seventh Regiment has found and rescued 1 goshawk and 1 kestrel, a second-level protected animal of the state, and 1 great egret, a first-level protected animal in the autonomous region, all of which have been released into nature.

The radiant tortoise, also known as the radiant tortoise, is a turtle with a very beautiful pattern, and anyone who sees it for the first time will be shocked by its gorgeous pattern. In recent years, the popularity of the climbing pet market has been very high, although it has been imported in large quantities, but the price remains high. In the Guinness Book of World Records, Captain Cook of the United Kingdom gave a radiant turtle to the king of the Kingdom of Dongka in 1777 AD, and it lived until 1965 to die, at the age of 188.
