Wintering females begin to feed in mid-March of the following year, lay eggs from late April to mid-May, the first generation to mid-June, the peak period of egg laying and hatching is from late April to early May, the second generation from late June to mid-August, the peak period of egg laying and incubation is from late June to early July, the third generation (wintering generation) begins in late August, and the peak period of egg laying and hatching is from late August to early September. It enters the adult stage in early October and begins wintering in November.
