The class combines music and party history, and the writer Pei Gaocai tells the children the stories behind the songs. It is understood that Cai Yichen is a native of Huangpi, and after graduating from the Hubei Provincial First Normal School, he successively taught at the First Division Affiliated Primary School and Chung Hua University, and embarked on a career of professional revolution. Under the influence of Dong Biwu, he threw himself into the Revolution and joined the Communist Party of China in 1923, enjoying the reputation of "leader of the peasant movement". On October 25, 1928, he died heroically in Lixian County, Hunan Province, and was posthumously recognized as a revolutionary martyr after the founding of New China.

In mid-April 1927, Cai Yichen was invited by cai Xiangchen, the second brother who was then the principal of Wuhan No. 7 Primary School, to write a school song for the school. At that time, Wuhan was already the red capital of the Great Revolution, and Cai Yichen named this song "Chidu Primary School Song". "Seek freedom, seek equality, and strive" "Students, strive to move forward, always be prepared, throw themselves into the national revolution"... The lyrics are closely integrated with the historical environment of the time and inspire the children to move forward courageously.

After the success of New China, Cai Yichen was posthumously recognized as a martyr, and Cai Xiangchen wrote lyrics based on memory, and on March 8 this year, Ying Huayi, a retired old principal of Huangpi, re-composed the song. At present, this song has been included in the book "Cai Yichen, the Pioneer of "Casting Swords" (Revised Edition) written by Pei Gaocai and Xiao Yan and published by China Social Science Press.
