At the just-concluded Fourth Foreign Ministers' Meeting of Afghanistan's Neighbours, China stressed that it will continue to provide support within its capacity for the reconstruction of Afghanistan. Also this week, China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs released China's Position on Afghanistan, which comprehensively and systematically explains China's impartial position on Afghanistan. From promoting the proper settlement of the Afghan issue to mediating the restoration of diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran, China has actively advocated and implemented global security initiatives to continuously inject stability and positive energy into a turbulent world.
At present, the situation in Afghanistan is in a critical period of domestic and foreign policy adjustment and transformation. Against the backdrop of stability and turmoil, the Fourth Foreign Ministers' Meeting of Afghanistan's neighboring countries focused on helping Afghanistan overcome difficulties and challenges and achieve stable development.
