Zhang Shaoshuai was placed under house arrest, and his subordinate Huo Shouyi warned Chang Kaishen: If you dare to move him, I will move you

author:Jiang Lang said history

During the Republic of China period, there were many warlords, but the number of warlords after the Central Plains Melee was greatly reduced, and the remaining warlords were basically one-sided giants. Because of the division of the party, it is generally referred to by region, such as Feng Yuxiang's Northwest Army, Zhang Zuolin's Northeast Army, and Yan Xishan's Jin Sui Army. Among the many warlords, Zhang Shaoshuai was relatively miserable, and he lost the northeast at a young age, and could only lead the northeast army to flee to the interior. Although Zhang Shaoshuai was exiled, after all, he was a young marshal, holding 300,000 Northeast Troops, and there were people who gave face everywhere he went.

Zhang Shaoshuai was placed under house arrest, and his subordinate Huo Shouyi warned Chang Kaishen: If you dare to move him, I will move you

On December 12, 1936, Zhang Shaoshuai and Yang Hucheng advised Chang Kaishen, creating the "Xi'an Incident" that shocked China and foreign countries. However, within two years, Zhang Shaoshuai was put under house arrest by Chang Kaishen in the Qilin Cave in Guiyang City. I really don't know whether it is because Zhang Shaoshuai has great personality charm or whether under the influence of Zhang Zuolin, the Northeast Army is extremely loyal to Zhang Shaoshuai. At that time, the high-ranking generals in the northeast were divided into two factions, and the radicals believed that they should strive to ensure the safety of Young Marshal Zhang, even if they went to war with Chang Kaishen's army; the conservatives believed that they should obey their orders and wait for Young Marshal Zhang's orders. The point agreed between the two factions was that they would not surrender, and the Northeast Army was much more loyal than Feng Yuxiang's Northwest Army.

At that time, the Northeast Army and Chang Kaishen's Central Army were tense, and the situation was very delicate. In order to ease the tension between the two armies, Chang Kaishen asked Young Marshal Zhang to meet with the senior generals of the Northeast Army at Xikou. At this meeting, Zhang Shaoshuai said: "As long as you are all right, he Chang Kaishen will not move me", this sentence is not wrong at all, it is because the Northeast Army cannot insert the needle and the water cannot be spilled, and Chang Kaishen cannot use "silver dollar diplomacy" to disintegrate the Northeast Army, so he always dares not easily attack Zhang Shaoshuai. In this case, the Northeast Army and Chang Kaishen grasped each other's political needs, and Chang Kaishen hoped to stabilize the overall situation and let the Northeast Army continue to submit to the jurisdiction of the Nationalist Army; and the Northeast Army vowed to protect Young Marshal Zhang and obey Chang Kaishen's command for the safety of Young Marshal Zhang.

Huo Shouyi, a radical faction of the Northeast Army, found Chang Kaishen and said bluntly: "I am obliged by the chairman of the committee to let me resist the war." But if something goes wrong with the young marshal, then I can't guarantee that the Northeast Army won't turn against you. "What Huo Shouyi said is simply too clear, both sides have compromised, the Northeast Army resisted Japan, you protect the safety of Young Marshal Zhang." If you move Young Marshal Zhang, the Northeast Army will kill you. This was a naked threat, but from Huo Shouyi's words, Chang Kaishen also recognized the loyalty of the Northeast Army. Unfortunately, the object of loyalty was Zhang Shaoshuai, not his chairman. This loyalty was a big threat to Chang Kaishen, so Chang Kaishen continued to work hard to divide the Northeast Army.

Silver dollar diplomacy did not work, the Northeast Army was not the Northwest Army, so Chang Kaishen began to use coercion to force the Northeast Army to submit. Lieutenant General Gui Yongqing was ordered to suppress Huo Shouyi, and Gui Yongqing and Huo Shouyi had already had a confrontation, and this time Gui Yongqing said bluntly: Your department is in Weinan, if I do you, you will definitely not be able to hold on. With a sneer, Huo Shouyi said, "Then old brother, you come and try me." Gui Yongqing immediately turned off the fire, after all, he had previously taught the general team to attack Huo Shouyi three times, and the result was all feathered.

After that, Huo Shouyi also began to slowly disappoint Chang Kaishen, and he began to draw closer to our army, and he repeatedly protected our party members from the interior to Yan'an, from Yan'an to the interior. Moreover, when the Nationalist army searched for the undercover of our army, Huo Shouyi insisted on saving Wan Yi (55 lieutenant generals). Moreover, for a long time, the 115th Division of our army cooperated with each other to attack the Japanese and Kosovo, and made indelible contributions to the anti-Japanese resistance. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Huo Shouyi became a lieutenant general in the Nationalist army and was ordered to garrison Yanzhou in Lunan. During the Liberation War, Huo Shouyi had been passively resisting, and Li Xianzhou was so angry that he slapped the table and scolded the mother. In the end, Huo Shouyi saw that there was no way, so he took his troops to the battlefield, but after a battle, he surrendered to our army. He died in 1967, ending his life.
