In accordance with the unified deployment of the Shandong Provincial People's Procuratorate, the Weifang Municipal Procuratorate dispatched some cadres from the suburban district procuratorates of Weifang City and three grass-roots procuratorates and some cadres and policemen of the Rizhao City Procuratorate to form the Fourth Circuit Procuratorial Group of the Provincial Procuratorate to carry out cross-circuit procuratorial work in Lubei Prison and binzhou Municipal Procuratorate. On October 14, the Fourth Circuit Procuratorial Group held a circuit procuratorial mobilization meeting at Lubei Prison and binzhou Municipal Procuratorate.
At the meeting, Xu Guangming, member of the party leading group of the Weifang City Procuratorate, secretary of the sub-party group of the procuratorate in the suburban areas, chief procurator, and head of the circuit procuratorial group, made a mobilization speech. He pointed out the political advantages of law enforcement and judicial restraint and supervision under the leadership of the party and the importance of procuratorial organs' participation, follow-up, and integrated supervision in the process of handling cases; the implementation of the "Opinions of the CPC Central Committee on Strengthening the Legal Supervision of Procuratorial Organs in the New Era" is of great significance in making procuratorial supervision more authoritative, more powerful, and more in-depth, and he informed the overall work arrangements, key contents and methods of procuratorial inspection, and put forward specific requirements for prisons to cooperate with the procuratorial work.
Li Hongxin, secretary of the party committee and director of Lubei Prison, and Wang Tigong, secretary of the party leading group and chief procurator of the Binzhou Municipal Procuratorate, respectively introduced the relevant situation and made statements. Qiu Yong, member of the party group and deputy procurator general of the Weifang Suburban District Procuratorate, presided over the meeting and introduced the division of tasks and personnel composition of the circuit procuratorial group.
