In recent years, with the help of the Anqing Municipal People's Procuratorate, Gelin Village, Yatan Town, Wangjiang County, Anqing City, Anhui Province, has taken poverty alleviation as the general guide to comprehensively promote various work and lay a solid foundation for the next step of rural revitalization.
Green Village vigorously develops the collective economy. Built 5 photovoltaic power plants of 638 kilowatts, of which 500 kilowatts at the village level, 138 kilowatts of household joint construction, village-level power stations increase the annual income of the village collective by about 300,000 yuan, of which 70% of the funds are used for the employment and public welfare of poor households, and the income of the 138 kilowatts of power stations is all used for 46 poor households; the village-level oil tea base is 350 mu, which is expected to produce benefits after 3 years, and currently solves the long-term employment of 2 poor households and 530 temporary employment every year; 50 mu of the village-level Guapu base is built. Every year, 120 people were temporarily employed by poor households; a standardized duck breeding community was built, and a total investment of 3.04 million yuan was invested in 7 duck breeding greenhouses and standardized supporting facilities.
In 2017, Green Village invested 500,000 yuan in Modern Fine Seed Co., Ltd., in 2019, it entered the shareholder Fang Rice Industry Co., Ltd. for 250,000 yuan, and invested 800,000 yuan in the characteristic six white pig breeding project in Yatan Town. From 2017 to 2019, 45,000 yuan of revenue funds were received, and 60% of it has been used for temporary employment and environmental remediation of poor households.
Since 2020, the Anqing Municipal People's Procuratorate, as the help unit of Gelin Village, has focused on the living security of 8 households that have not been lifted out of poverty and 8 marginal households in the village, established a "three-in-one" ledger, established a county, town, and village listing combat responsibility guarantee network, strengthened the work mechanism of guaranteeing the responsibility of cadres and those responsible for helping the household, and formulated a task list to ensure that the battle against poverty is won on schedule.
In order to ensure that Green Village successfully completes the task of poverty alleviation this year, the village-based task force and the village "two committees" have continuously taken new measures to help overcome poverty: Organizing some poor households with the ability to work at home to pay for the "four nets and two norms" for poor households without the ability to work, which not only promotes exchanges between poor households, but also increases the income of poor households and stimulates the endogenous motivation of poor households; organizes the holding of poverty alleviation night schools and the twenty-eighth session of the village lecture hall, which extends from the village to the villagers' group to publicize the poverty alleviation policy and eliminate the worries of poor households.
Zhang Yixiang, the first secretary of the Anqing Municipal People's Procuratorate stationed in Gelin Village, said that the Anqing Municipal People's Procuratorate has always worked with Gelin Village to promote private accommodation, develop rural leisure industries such as organic ecological picking gardens, and strive to build a rural tourism brand.
