Born in Fujian, China, he came to Japan with his parents at the age of 5 and learned Japanese in kindergarten. Lin- Who has always loved string music since childhood When he was in high school, he first met the famous visual rock band Moon Nokai LUNA SEA from a friend, and was deeply shocked in his heart, and was greatly attracted by guitarist SUGIZO, determined to start learning guitar. "At first, I borrowed a piano, and after playing for a year, I saved up money to buy the First G of Edwards, the first guitar in my life. Coincidentally, there was only this one left, which had the signature of Mr. Aiji, the guitarist of my favorite pierrot band. Perhaps this is the will of God, giving some kind of "coincidence" and guidance at a crucial turning point in his life.
Like all adolescent music teenagers who were led by idols, in order to explore the road of orthodox music in the big cities, Rin-Lin-strives to march all the way from the local city where he lives to Kobe and Osaka, constantly experiencing the formation and dissolution of the band, learning to compose and make original music on his own, fully participating in live performances to accumulate experience, and after several tempering, he finally entered the visual rock circle in Osaka and officially signed a contract with the visual rock agency. In 2012, he returned to Shanghai, China, and formed Lilith, the first visual rock band in China at that time, which set off a lot of enthusiasm at that time, and even after five years of dissolution, there are still many fans who remember the impact they brought and will come to Japan to see his performance.
Although he has been struggling in the rock and roll circle all the way, Rin-Lin has not abandoned his responsibilities to the family as the second generation of Chinese. During the performance, he devoted all his efforts on the stage, and after the performance, he took care of his studies, not only successfully completed the university and went to the United States for further study, but also entered the business world as an industrialist. In life, he is polite, serious and humble, loves fashion and food, and is a very beautiful and quiet boy, but once on stage, he will completely transform and burst out the powerful courage and strength of "a person is a universe".
Rin-Lin-explains his "split" this way: "One of the charms of visual rock is two-sidedness, and after wearing makeup on the stage, it is completely two people than usual you are. Most visual musicians have this common point, and the contrast between the stage and the stage will be relatively large. For me, "Rock 'n' Roll Player Rin-Lin-" is a transformation, an ideal image of myself. ”
In the Japanese rock industry, which requires a comprehensive "forget-me-it- self-imposed" rule as soon as it comes to the stage, Rin-Lin-lin has not only learned this professional spirit, but has also been under great pressure, "Overseas, we are all foreigners, and we must work harder than ordinary Japanese to develop well." It was the pride of maintaining this profession that made Rin-Lin-a slightly disappointed in those who said he was "playing music". "Actually they don't have malicious intentions, but I'm not comfortable with the word "play" for playing music. We are not playing, we are using our own life, time, youth to create art. I gave up because of music, I lost a lot of things, but it is also because of music that I became strong, had ideals, and had many friends and good memories. "Although they have experienced countless setbacks in this industry and their families do not understand very well, they will still come to the scene to help Rin-Lin's important performances, and the warmth and support from the family makes Rin-Lin- very grateful."
Currently, Rin-Lin-is performing musical activities as Solo's guitarist and composer. On June 23, two years later, the latest original EP "Nine Days of Chaos" was released, with the theme of "New Generation chinese rock", which included two new singles in rock music, "Dreamland" and "Nine Days of Chaos", which added elements of Chinese classical instruments such as erhu, guzheng and yangqin to rock music.
"As an overseas Chinese, I sometimes miss that time in Shanghai, and this creation is a kind of miss for the motherland." But my home is here, I need to guard it, and now under the epidemic, China's image has also encountered some distortions and misunderstandings, I hope that I can take on some responsibility, so that the voice of this work can be transmitted to all over the world, so that the Western world can also hear and have the opportunity to understand The Oriental rock, music is borderless, and it is released in Japan in the hope that everyone can be more interested in China. ”
The music production of this new work is in Tokyo, where the level of music production is very developed, and Rin-Lin- was able to cooperate with a group of very professional Japanese musicians to challenge the most perfect and avant-garde works, which in itself is a testimony to the friendship between China and Japan.
