Comprehensive CNN, Reuters and other reports, the coronation ceremony of King Charles III of the United Kingdom will be held at Westminster Abbey in London on May 6, and the royal family announced the route between Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey on that day. The royal family also launched an emoji for use on social media Twitter, a reference to the 17th-century St. Edward's crown that Charles III would wear at his coronation. However, Charles III's parades and coronations were smaller than those of his mother, Elizabeth II, who ascended the throne.

According to the tradition of the British royal family for thousands of years, the pomp and circumstance of the coronation has always been gorgeous and spectacular. The route passes through the Boulevard, Navy Arch, Trafalgar Square and Whitehall, which was significantly shorter than the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953, and the scale of the coronation was also reduced in response to Charles's request, which is believed to be the royal family's adjustment to the modern social atmosphere and rising prices.

To symbolize the British royal family's rise to date, the royal family has launched an emoji for the coronation of King Charles III next month for social media Twitter, which is a reference to the 17th-century St. Edward's crown design that Charles III will wear at his coronation.

This emoji appears when Twitter uses hashtags such as #Coronation, #CoronationBigLunch, and #TheBigHelpOut. Elizabeth II wore the crown at her coronation in 1953, and 70 years later, Charles will wear the Crown of St. Edward at his coronation.

According to the arrangement, early on the morning of May 6, Charles and Queen Camilla will travel from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey in the Diamond Jubilee carriage built by Elizabeth II during the 60th anniversary of his accession to the throne. Built in Australia and inaugurated in 2014, the Diamond Jubilee carriage features interior items partly from historic British buildings and royal palaces, and a gilded crown with shock absorbers and modern heating and cooling. The crown is made of oak from the 18th-century Royal Navy's 18th-century ship HMS Victory.

The coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey was held at 11 a.m. and was attended by over 2,000 guests, including 450 representatives of charities and community organisations, in addition to dignitaries and royalty. After the ceremony, Charles III and Camilla, as well as a group of royalty, will meet the public on the terrace of Buckingham Palace.

The 3-day celebration includes a star-studded concert, a national "luncheon extravaganza" and volunteering, as well as a traditional royal parade. After the coronation at Westminster Abbey, Charles and Camilla will join the grand coronation procession. The total route along the route is only about 2.1 kilometers, which is only about 1/3 of the 7.2 kilometers that Elizabeth II used to have.

Charles and Camilla will return in a 260-year-old golden carriage. This carriage was used by every British king since William IV in 1831 at his coronation. The golden carriage is 7 meters long, 3.6 meters high and weighs 4 tons, and it takes eight horses to pull it. Goodcer, curator of the Royal Collection Trust, said: "Because the carriage can only travel at walking speed, it makes the royal procession more solemn. "However, this ancient golden carriage does not have the shock absorbers and modern equipment of heating and cooling that the Diamond Jubilee carriage is equipped with.

Charles succeeded to the throne after the death of Elizabeth II last September, but his coronation will not be officially until a ceremony at Westminster Abbey in London on May 6 this year. The analysis pointed out that the scale of Charles' coronation is likely to be in response to the modern social atmosphere, and the recent sharp rise in living prices in Europe, unwilling to let the outside world have an overly extravagant impression of the royal family.
