In order to shorten the walking time and connect the two venues, a plastic track with a width of about 2.5 meters was built in the waterfront landscape. Green plants such as ebony and metasequoia are planted on both sides of the plastic track, and baseball element wall paintings are set up along the road.
With the improvement of the surrounding road landscape, a transportation network centered on the Asian Games venues has become increasingly perfect, and many surrounding residents have been attracted to ride, jog, walk and enjoy leisure time.

"I think the color of the trail is good, and with the nearby water, the whole environment is very comfortable." Ms. Chi, who lives nearby, said in an interview that her family often rides or walks on the greenway near the Asian Games venues. In her opinion, this waterfront greenway allows people to enjoy the Asian Games dividends in advance.
The reporter learned that the Asian Games baseball and softball stadium comprehensively considered the different needs before, during and after the game with the service concept of "before the game for the Asian Games, and for the community after the game". After the Asian Games, a modern future community with the theme of baseball and softball will be built here, integrating nine scenarios such as future neighborhood, future health, future building, and future low-carbon.
Among them, in order to create a future community smart transportation characteristic scene and meet the diversified travel needs of residents, the venue also introduced an autonomous minibus shaped like a space capsule, and during the Hangzhou Asian Games, the autonomous minibus will open an autonomous driving route with the baseball and softball stadium as the core to provide shuttle services for community residents and spectators.

According to reports, the self-driving minibus uses automatic driving technology, and the people in the car can control the speed, air conditioning, lighting, music, etc. of the minibus through the voice interaction system. In the future, nearby people can also book a car on the mobile phone APP to achieve green and intelligent travel.
On the north side of the baseball and softball stadium, a new municipal road 28 meters wide and more than 700 meters long was also built, and the Asian Games images and propaganda slogans were painted on the side walls of the road. To the south of the baseball arena, there is a 22-meter-high sculpture of the "Baseball Future Community", which is based on three baseball bats and a baseball, and combines dots and lines to highlight vitality.
"It is hoped that through this series of renovations and improvements, the spectators and athletes who came to participate during the Hangzhou Asian Games can feel the strong Asian Games atmosphere and Shaoxing charm before entering the venue."
