British actress Kate Beckinsale revealed that she has not seen her daughter in two years due to the new coronavirus pandemic.
The 47-year-old actress and her ex-husband, Mike Sheen, have a 22-year-old daughter named Lily Mo Sheen. During a recent "Living with Kelly and Ryan" campaign for the new movie Jolt, Kate revealed that the pandemic has separated her and her daughter for the longest period of time since Lily was born because they were both quarantined and then went back to work.
"For various reasons, I haven't seen my daughter in two years. Also, I went to Work in Canada and she couldn't come to see me. Kate confessed. Not seeing your child for two years is the most ridiculous idea, but it really happens. ”
Kate travels to New York to promote the movie Jolt and co-hosts with Kelly Ripper and Ryan Seacrest, so she may have ended her absence from meeting her daughter. Kate explained that her daughter is currently pursuing an acting career in New York. When travel became a bit safer again, Kate noted that she traveled to Canada to shoot Jolt, which meant she would have further lockdown procedures and travel restrictions in place to comply with safety measures at the scene.
Kate said: "Thankfully, with FaceTime and all this stuff, but we were all worried that we were really old in the other person's eyes."

Like many, these stars seem to have been cautious as the number of COVID-19 patients in the United States continues to grow. As of Thursday morning, in the United States, more than 34226889 people had been diagnosed with COVID-19 in total, and at least 609862 had died.
Kate Beckinsale isn't the only person who can't visit family during the pandemic for work reasons. Kate noted that Lily's efforts to follow in her mother's footsteps led her to her first film role in a bizarre new film in which she starred with Nicholas Cage.
"Lily made her first film last year, in which she played the daughter of Nicolas Cage, and in this film, Nicolas Cage will play Nicolas Cage." Lily said of her daughter's role in the upcoming movie "The Unbearable Weight of Genius." "She ran, it was horrible."
Kate noted, however, that while they still meet online, both she and her daughter fear that when they are finally reunited, it will appear to the other person to be noticeably older. "Because we haven't seen each other in reality for two years, we're worried that we're getting older." She laughed.
