Sanmentang Village, Tianzhu County, Qiandongnan Prefecture: The village has rich ethnic customs and rich ethnic culture, and is an ancient and beautiful Dong village on the bank of the Qingshui River. Famous for ancient monuments, ancient wells, ancient trees and ancient buildings, it is listed as "Chinese ethnic minority characteristic village" and "Chinese traditional village", its Liu Ancestral Hall and other ancient buildings are listed as "National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit", and the Liu Ancestral Hall Protection and Restoration Project has been awarded the Asia-Pacific Cultural Heritage Protection Honorary Award by UNESCO. In 2018, Sanmentang Village was rated as a national AAA-level tourist scenic spot, passed the national AAAA tourist scenic spot landscape quality assessment in 2021, and was rated as a "family style education and research base" by the National Customs Work Commission. In 2022, Sanmentang Village was selected as the "fourth batch of key villages of rural tourism in the province" in Guizhou.
"Open-air folk museum"
Sanmentang is an ancient and beautiful Dong village on the Qingshui River, known as the "first village in Beidong". Surrounded by mountains and rivers, the gateway of the total three rivers and nine streams, the throat of the outer ports of the inner river, and historically the main timber trading port of the outer three rivers.
The village is famous for ancient architecture, stone culture, tree culture, water culture, and Dong ethnic customs, and the concentration of cultural relics is rare in the country, which can be called the open-air folk museum of the northern Dong dialect area.
Wang Clan Ancestral Hall
The Wang Ancestral Hall, also known as the Taiyuan Ancestral Hall, is one of the ancient ancestral halls of Sanmentang. 500 years ago, the Wang clan was relocated from Taiyuan Prefecture in Shanxi Province to Sanmentang, and named it Taiyuan Temple for future generations to remember their ancestors. It was built in the early years of Qianlong, destroyed in the Xiantong War, and rebuilt in the 34th year of Guangxu (1908), the building form is a brick and wood structure, the building covers an area of about 300 square meters, and the ancestral hall is 11 meters high and 12 meters wide.
National customs
The local festivals in Sanmentang include March 3, Lixia Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Taste New Festival, July 7 Dong Song Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Chongyang Festival, October 15 Fasting Festival, etc. Among them, the Seventh Dong Song Festival in early July is the most grand, and the young men and women of 48 villages dressed in festive costumes and singing competitions here are very lively.

Ganxi Dongzhai
Ganxi Dong Village, 18 kilometers away from the county seat of Tianzhu, is located in the lofty mountains and mountains, is a very attractive Dong village in Tianzhu County. Because the stream here flows continuously throughout the four seasons, it is clear and the water is sweet, so it is named Ganxi.
The villagers of Ganxi have a tradition of practicing martial arts and rich martial arts culture, and are known as "Kung Fu Village". In 2019, Ganxi Dong Village was included in the fifth batch of Chinese traditional village list, the second batch of national forest villages and the third batch of Chinese ethnic minority characteristic villages.
Sixty Jung-dong Waterfall
The Liuzhangdong Waterfall is located in the mountains near Lianhuashan in Seokdong Town. The stream originating from the mountains and forests of Gaomiao Village in the western part of Jiulong Mountain meanders all the way to the 60-zhang cave, and after rushing between the cliffs, it is split in two by the protruding stone peak, and the stream goes straight down the 60-zhang canyon, making the waterfall with the highest flying stream in Qiandi.
The 60-zhang cave is surrounded by steep walls on top and deep pools and canyons below, surrounded by steep walls on three sides, with trees and trees, covering the sky. In front of the left, there is a stone peak standing abruptly, one straight into the sky, the other straight into the deep valley, shaped like a dragon drinking water. It is precisely because of the high danger of the cliff wall of the 60-zhang cave that the beauty of the waterfall is achieved.
