At the Special Olympics, Yunnan athletes with disabilities took every game seriously with high standards and strict requirements. On October 25, the Yunnan provincial delegation won a total of 1 gold, 3 silver and 9 bronze. In the men's discus formula 46 competition, the Pumi boy Kozawa won the event with 49.07 meters.

In 2013, Kozawa entered the Yunnan Provincial Paralympic Athletics Team to practice discus, javelin and shot put. At the last Paralympic Games, Kozawa won the men's discus F46 class, and in order to win the gold medal in this event, he set himself the goal of breaking the national record. In the two years of preparation, Kozawa trained very hard, and in each stage of strength training, his total weight of grasping and lifting was more than 2,000 kilograms, which was very difficult for him to amputate his right forearm. In this competition, Kozawa reported three events of discus, javelin and shot put, and in the javelin and shot put competitions that have been concluded, he won the bronze medal and the 4th place. In the men's discus F46 level competition, Hebei's Hou Zhanbiao came to a menacing situation, and the throwing results have been pressing for Kozawa alone. Kozawa's desire to win alone, coupled with his eagerness to break the national record, caused the psychological tension to deform. "My usual training results are around 54 to 55 meters, and today I only shot 49.07 meters, which is still far from the results I expected." Although Kozawa was a little disappointed, he finally won the gold medal by beating Hou Zhanbiao with an advantage of 0.21 meters.

In addition, Wang Dan won the silver medal in the women's 100m T36 class, and Tao Xiaoluo and Zhang Yongqiang won the bronze medal in the men's 200m T36 class and the men's 1500m hearing impaired group respectively.

In the swimming arena, Luo Qiang and Zou Liankang won silver medals in the men's 100m breaststroke SB7 and men's 200m freestyle S3 respectively, Huang Min won the bronze medal in the women's 100m breaststroke SB7, Yang Jiali won the third place in the women's 150m individual medley SM3 class, Zheng Tao won the bronze medal in the men's non-main event men's 200m individual medley SM5 class, Zhou Zhihua, Jin Xiaoqin and Wang Guoyan won the third place in the men's and women's 100m butterfly S8 and women's 100m butterfly S9 respectively. Qian Hongyan, who has already won 1 silver and 1 bronze, won another bronze in the women's 200m individual medley SM6 level competition.

On the same day, the Yunnan Blind Football Team defeated the rival Jiangsu Team by a score of 4:0, and is currently ranking first in the standings with a total victory of 4 games. The Yunnan seated volleyball team, which also had outstanding results, defeated Hebei 3:0 and also led the project standings with a total victory record.

On October 26, the marathon will kick off, with Yunnan Provincial Long-distance Runner Li Chaoyan leading the race. (Lou Ying)
