On the morning of October 22, Yang Zhi, chairman of the Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, led the members of the chairman's meeting to Wuhan Economic Development Zone to investigate the construction of rail transit line 16 and Lotus Wuhan production base project. Liu Ziqing, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the Wuhan Economic Development Zone Working Committee, accompanied the investigation.
Wuhan Rail Transit Line 16 starts from Zhoujiahe Station in the south and reaches the South Station of Guobo Center in the north, with a total of 12 stations.
Among them, there are 5 elevated stations, 7 underground stations, and 2 interchange stations, which belong to the urban express line, with a maximum speed of up to 120 kilometers per hour, and have now entered the test run stage of the whole line, and are scheduled to be officially opened to traffic at the end of this year.
Starting from guobo center station, the research team took the rail transit line 16 on the whole line, and inspected the construction effect on the spot to learn more about the engineering situation, construction progress and expected results of the subway line.
After listening to the relevant work report, Yang Zhi pointed out that the construction of Rail Transit Line 16 will further highlight the location advantages of Junshan North Union and South Hannan, accelerate industrial agglomeration, and create another round of development opportunities for high-quality construction of Chegu Vice City.
Lotus Wuhan production base project with a total investment of 20 billion yuan, planning land of 1500 acres, is expected to be officially put into operation at the end of this year, after reaching production can achieve an annual production capacity of 150,000 vehicles. At present, the construction of various workshops such as stamping, welding, painting, assembly, and distribution has entered the final stage.
Walking into the stamping workshop of Lotus Wuhan production base, Yang Zhi talked cordially with the project leader, carefully inquired about the progress of equipment assembly, workshop construction, product development and other work, and learned about the construction of Geely Group's industrial cluster in Wuhan Economic Development Zone.
It is reported that Geely Group has laid out 6 key industries in the Wuhan Economic Development Zone, including lotus Wuhan production base project, lotus global headquarters project, Billion Cafeteau networking project, core engine technology vehicle specification chip project, high-end smart phone project and flying car industrialization project, focusing on building an industrial ecological chain.
During the investigation, Yang Zhi fully affirmed the effectiveness of the project construction of Lotus Wuhan production base, and encouraged the relevant responsible persons to further strengthen the guarantee of factors, fully meet the needs of project construction, and promote the quality and efficiency of project construction.
