According to foreign media reports, Sony India recently announced that it will shoot a Hindi version of "Lola Run", starring Tass Pannu, Tahir Raj Bassin, and directed by Aakash Bhatia ("Inside the Border"). Filming began in April and will be released in India on January 29 next year.
The 1998 edition of Lola Run is a crime romance film directed and written by Tom Tikwe and starring Franka Portante, Moritz Bredo and others. The film, which tells the story of Lola, who runs to save her boyfriend, gets 100,000 marks in 20 minutes, and the film was released in Germany in 1998.
