The Ciqikou-Hongya Cave passenger route covers a distance of about 18 kilometers and takes about 70 minutes a way, along the way, you can enjoy famous sightseeing spots and landmarks such as Chongqing Grand Theater, Shamaoshi, Liziba Track Piercing Building, Ciqikou, etc., and you can also enjoy the 13 river-crossing bridges in the central city of Chongqing.

The relevant person in charge of Chongqing Passenger Ferry Company introduced that as early as 1950, the Municipal Passenger Ferry Company opened the Ciqikou-Linjiangmen ferry route, and changed the end point to Chaotianmen in 1953. In the following decades, the route has been in the operation stage, with water buses and speedboats put into operation, and then suspended due to the construction of the two rivers and four banks.

From April 6, the Ciqikou-Hongya Cave route began to officially sell tickets to tourists, and tourists can board from Shapingba Ciqikou Special Steel Ferry Terminal and Yuzhong District Hongya Cave Passenger Terminal.
During the trial operation, the ticket price is 30 yuan/person/one-way (free for less than 1.2 meters), and tourists can purchase tickets through the "Transportation Water Sightseeing Tour" mini program, Ctrip, the smart screen of Ciqikou Special Steel Ferry Port and the artificial window of the terminal.

In order to facilitate tourists to check in, there is currently a free shuttle bus between Ciqikou Scenic Area and Ciqikou Special Steel Wharf. All passengers who purchase the "Ciqikou-Hongya Cave" ferry ticket can take the shuttle bus to and from Ciqikou Special Steel Ferry Port to Ciqikou Ancient Town Scenic Area for free with the ticket purchase voucher, and the driving time is about 10 minutes.

The relevant person in charge of the Yuzhong District Traffic Bureau said that in addition to the Hongya Cave-Ciqikou sightseeing ferry route opened this time, Yuzhong District has successively opened Chaotianmen (Hongya Cave)-Jiangbeizui-Danzishi, Chaotianmen (Hongya Cave)-Guangyang Island, Chaotianmen (Hongya Cave)-Dazhulin routes in recent years, and Yuzhong District will successively open sightseeing ferry routes connecting other parts of the city according to the unified planning of the city, further enriching the needs of citizens for travel and sightseeing.

The relevant person in charge of the Shapingba District Transportation Bureau said that Shapingba District implemented the overall arrangements of the municipal party committee and the municipal government on the improvement of the governance of "two rivers and four banks", and joined hands with the transportation group to use the 800-meter shoreline of the Ciqikou water area with a total investment of about 600 million yuan to build a comprehensive tourist passenger terminal and a golden water passenger transport route in Ciqikou. At present, the special steel ferry port is in use, with a shoreline of about 500 meters, and the first phase of the Ciqikou-Hongya Cave water passenger route will be opened.
In the future, the site will be upgraded to a passenger terminal, with Ciqikou as the core, and will operate water sightseeing routes from Dazhulin, Lijia, Yuelai, to Chaotianmen, Danzishi, Guangyang Island and other places. At the same time, it will build a Ciqikou yacht base, operate yacht projects, provide high-end customized water excursion services, create characteristic tourist ships, open night cruise routes in Ciqikou Ancient Town, and supporting cultural tourism experience projects.
Travel reminder
1. One adult ticket can carry one child under 1.2 meters for free, and more children need to purchase a ticket.
2. It is valid within 16 o'clock on the same day, and the specific flight time is subject to the departure time of the day.
3. The frequency of the ship is uncertain, due to factors such as the ship's inventory (large flow of people in peak season, full departure) and other factors, please refer to the on-site arrangement at the pier on the day for the specific frequency and departure time, please board the ship as soon as possible.
4. On the day of play, bring the SMS "QR code" and valid ID card received after successful ticket purchase to directly verify and board the ship.
