According to local time on April 4, the two have officially broken up "ending a whirlwind relationship that has caused a sensation around the world." In January, Murdoch and Smith were photographed vacationing on the Caribbean island of Barbados after their romance was made public.
On March 20, Murdoch announced in an interview that the two were engaged and planned to hold a wedding this summer to officially enter into marriage.
